Unfortunately, the word 'refurbished' means to Disney to make everything generic and take away the Disney look we all love. It has been the trend for the last several years and I don't like anything about it. You could be staying 'anywhere' and that's not why you pay Disney prices for something you could get much cheaper elsewhere.
The same goes for a lot of the shops and restaurants also! Not to mention the lack of a lot of outdoor decor from what it was in yesteryears, especially MK & EPCOT.
