Renewing vows at DVC?

Has anyone ever renewed their vows while at a DVC resort? I'm not sure if they even offer this. But, I'd love to be able to do even a simple ceremony in December with my wife and 3 boys.

Disney offers weddings and vow renewals in many places on WDW property (little known fact: all wedding cakes are baked at the GF with a full time staff of five dedicated to that task).

I don't know what your home resort is, but I can say for sure that they offer small weddings at the Wilderness Lodge on the large deck overlooking the geyser/pool area. We got married there in '96 and Disney did a wonderful job. The wedding planners take care of everything from the music to the cake. I did select the officiant, but they provided a list to make that easy. The had our ceremony timed so that when the officiant said "you may kiss the bride" the geyser went off right then.

I think it is SO romantic that you want to do this for your wife. She's a really luck lady!

My DH and I are celebrating our 5th this year. I am close to booking an event with "Gifts of a Lifetime" that will include a pseudo-vow renewal at MK. If you aren't looking for a formal vow renewal and just want something fun yet symbolic, you might consider this option. I'll bet they would do it pretty much anywhere a guest can get to at WDW, within reason, so at your DVC resort seems likely.

Search the discussion forums for "Gifts of a Lifetime" and you'll get lots of links with info about them and events they have planned. From what they have described to me for what my event would be like, I can't wait to see DH's reaction!

I am suprising my wife with a Renewal in Sept. One of the available settings for the renewal ceremony is WL. The others are the point at Poly (SEabreeze Point, where we are doing ours), the Wedding Pavilion and I think there is another that I can't remember. We did our Honeymoon at the Poly so it was a natural.
