Renal cyroablation

My dad is scheduled to have to have this procedure done next month on a "cyst" he has on one of his kidneys.

He was searching for information online and found this article:

Now he is afraid to have this procedure done. He emailed his doctor with his concerns but is looking for people who have had this done.

Anyone have any information on this procedure that may put his fears to rest or know of a better option?

Maybe you oughta see if you can find him a medical message board, I've heard some are really very informative.
It's good he's askin' questions now, I wish him the best.
