I'm intrigued by the menu for Remy on the DCL ships and thinking about going, but I'd be by myself and I'm hesitant to take the plunge. Anyone experience Remy solo? Would you be kind enough to share your experience?

I can't speak to Remy, but I have done both brunch and dinner solo at Palo. I had the same server for both meals and she was very attentive. Almost too attentive as I think she felt I needed someone to keep me company. I have no issues eating solo so I would have preferred a little less attention while I was eating. But I thoroughly enjoyed both meals and would do it solo again without hesitation.

Servers don't have many tables. I went there with my husband twice and both times, the server was with us A LOT (explaining the dishes, talking about anything about the cruise, we were not bored). They are amazing and very friendly.

I have no doubt that you can go and they will make this experience very special for you! You should go. I would never hesitate to go by myself.

If you go on the Dream, if you get Thomas or Fabien, you're going to be in good hands. They were amazing.

Also, there is an great violonist playing a song once in a while.

By the way, they will make sure you like your dinner. The chef sent us dishes that were not on the menu because I wasn't a fan of one dish.

I did Remy solo and LOVED it! I travel frequently for work, so it's always interesting to see how a server reacts - some kind of ignore you, others decide you're lonely and need a new best friend and won't leave you alone for a moment. My server at Remy got it exactly right! When I wanted him, he was there, but he didn't hang around unnecessarily. We had a great conversation and I was still able to enjoy my meal in peace. If you'd like - my meal is covered in the Dream Maiden Voyage trip report in my signature. :-)

Go for it!! Life is too short. Come back and tell us all about it.

I really wanted to go to brunch but it wasn't working out for me to go with the people I came with so I would've been by myself. I met people in our meet and greet group and eventually after few events I decided to have brunch with another lady I had been talking to for meet and greet you.
