Sigh - my AP is not yes activated, so guess I cannot get a reservation for the AP preview. It was a renewal but has never been used.

That's my problem too!! My friend was able to book her, but not me!! I won't get there til 9/26 to activate and hope I can get added to hers! I'm on hold now to see if they can add me! If not, I guess I will try when we get there!

Did you try to make a reservation? I was able to make reservations and our AP's haven't been activated. I was logged into MDE when I did it and it just pulled the info automatically for the 3 of us.

I don't see any options to do this on MDE.

I just meant to be logged in prior to clicking the link....I didn't realize at the time that the link would just direct you to login (I had logged in prior to clicking on the registration link so just wondered if that would make a difference). Trying to figure out why some work and others don't. It may also be timing on when the renewal certificates were purchased or if they were recovery ap's.

Yeah, I didn't have a link since I didn't get the email or notification on my phone. My friend got an email. Her pass is active, mine's not! Mine expired in February and I renewed it then, but haven't been able to go to the parks to activate it. I would've just let it lapse, but due to Covid and them not selling passes, I figured I should just renew. I was able to get my 10/1 park pass ....so, that worked out!!

Super excited that we got in on the DVC Member preview. We got September 5th during our end of summer Labor Day trip. Ratatouille is our sons favorite so we are making it a surprise. Can't wait!

Your trip had to be scheduled before August 1. Otherwise, it doesn't qualify for the DVC preview. If you have an AP, there was a different link which was emailed to passholders. I don't know if it was a one-time-use link but when I try it now, the link doesn't go to the registration page.

We got the AP email, tried that night, stated event was full. Tried again today same result. We couldn’t make it there anyways.

It appears any DVC member with blue card can book it now, its for 4 people total or amount on your resort reservation. I just booked the 4th, the link is on the dvc homepage once you log in.

Just booked without a reservation for the 5th at noon. Then snagged a SV BW 1 bedroom for the night of the 4th. Flights for 59 dollars each way out of Midway. Some quick dinning reservations. Wow, this escalated very quickly. In on the 4th and home late on the 5th.

Err... Did I mess up and lose our slot for this, or is the system technically separate from MDE/DVC's site?

Changed from 3 nights at AKV:J to 2 nights at BLT and 1 night at RR. Original was booked 8/1 and modified to the 2 nights at BLT, while the RR reservation was made tonight and encompasses the day of the preview.

I still have the reservation (it's still active in the system), and it says nothing about the hotel on it.

Question on the park access. If I get a 1 day base ticket at MK and have secured a preview time slot, can I still "hop" to EPCOT to ride Remy? And after the preview, do they just let you go at EPCOT freely or escort you out of park via the IG entrance? I would assume it would be a logistics nightmare to monitor folks after they preview ride.

You must have a park hopper or AP to do the preview if it is not your Epcot day.

So, if it is your MK day, and your preview time is before 2 pm when hopping starts, they will let you in.

However, if you don’t have the correct ticket, they will not allow you to go in to do the preview.

I had an Epcot pass added for our AP preview. We also already have an Epcot pass for that day so now we have 2 lol

Not for the DVC Preview. We got an email today about our AP preview on the 9th. But nothing about the DVC preview on the 5th.
