Remy During Extra Hours? ILL needed?

If we plan on being at Epcot during extra hours May 9th should we try for standby gir Remy or just bite the bullet and get $ILL? I don’t mind paying but I’d honestly rather spend it on ROTR or FOP if I a- don’t get it on our first day and b- we love FOP but can pay twice and rope drop once but it’s our fave. I do want to try Remy though….

ETA - we have 2 days, HS then AK with PH and G+

I'll be at Epcot on the same day and might do the extended evening hours. I was planning on just buying Remy for my group since everyone but me has never ridden it before. Also I have been reading other threads on extended evening hours at Epcot and quite a few people were saying that Remy either had a 40+ minute wait the entire time or was down.

I was planning on buying the ILL since it does guarantee that you get on the ride. It's more a peace of mind kind of thing. That's just my opinion though, I've never done EEH and don't know what it is really like besides reading secondhand experiences online.

We bought Remy when we were there just a few weeks back and we wanted to ride it again and did standby before Harmonious and waited maybe 30 min. If you plan to stay for the entirety of EEH, a good strategy if you don't want to pay is get in line at park close or rope drop early AM but sounds like you're hopping so RD may not be possible.
