Removed from the park

Not trying ot be difficult, and I rarely get involved, but where is the joke in the "rent" comment? :confused3

The joke is, the person who said it is a property owner, and when your a property owner you almost always have had a renter from heck who's managed to destroy property or act like a total moron like their on constant audition for the Jerry Springer show! LOL It's not a cut down on all renters, it was a personal comment about someone's experience as an owner. Sorry Robo if I spoke out of turn.

Can anyone tell that I might own property? LOL :confused3

If MrsSilvaStrat can't be my bouncer, do you want the gig, Millie?

Maybe one could do Mo-We-Fr, the other on Tu-Th-Sa, and trade-off on alternate Sundays.

You guys work it out and let me know.

Right now, I've got to go repair the wall at the rental unit... .........AGAIN!

Back in the early 80's, I was going through the turnstyle, and saw a young woman denied entry to the park because she was wearing a skimpy (ahem, very skimpy) bikini top and low-rise hip-huggers. The CM's gave her a tee-shirt to put over herself, but she refused. So, they wouldn't let her in. They gave her a lecture about this being a family venue, etc. and not to come back unless she was properly dressed. Her boyfriend was soooo embarassed. WOW! I sure wish they'd kept up that practice!!! It's a free for all, nowadays. The sights you see....:rolleyes1

I dont think it's real- the shirt itself was just designed to look like that. Look up "disney shirt" on google and the one I think you're talking about it on the first page, 2nd row. If you're talking about a different one, I stand corrected :) But this picture matches your description pretty closely.

Those really are their breasts. However it's not at Disneyland or WDW. I looked at the picture closely and realized they're on Bourbon Street during Mardi Gras. However I have heard rumors about it for a few years about it happening at a Disney park and them being escorted out.

OMG Robo was not insulting renters - he was insulting his tenants by saying they act the same way as those removed from the park.

Unless you are Robo's tenants - you should not be offended. If you are Robo's tenants - start behaving 'cuz you are about to be evicted!

Get'em honey, Get'em! LOL

lol - I dabble in Landlord/Tenant law - I've seen some bad behavior so I understand.

Robo - I'd be down for a parttime gig lol

LOL! What do you say Silva, you take Tu-Thu-Sa?

Oh my gosh Robo, your a hoot! I think I would like to vaca with you to Disney World, do you think your family would mine? I think I almost busted a vein laughing at your posts. :rotfl2:

This didnt happen at WDW but at Universal but its still almost the same thing. A couple of years ago I was chaperoning our HS school band down at disney. One day we went to Universal for the day and one of our 17 y.o. students was caught shoplifting there. Staff and chaperones were notified and security escorted her off the property. Our school has a policy that if the student gets into trouble on a school trip they will be sent back home with a chaperone escort at the parents expense. Since that was our last day in Florida and the bus was leaving to go back to PA in a couple hours the decision was made to let her stay in the security building at Universal with 2 chaperones til the bus left. She was lucky she was 17 instead of 18. At 18 she would have been arrested and taken to the local jail. As it was her parents had to pay a fine and she was suspended from school.
Good I'm glad she got kicked out. It's time for those stupid teen girls to learn a lesson that they're not better than everyone else.

After my internship last summer I'm not putting anything past anybody when it comes to landlord/tenant issues. I can't imagine what you must have heard about over time.

That will work for me! lol :lmao:

It makes me think of the 'itchy and scratchy land' simpsons episode where homer and bart end up in jail. So now I always wonder about 'disney jail'. (I know there is no jail and they just throw you out or call the 'real' cops but it funny to think of a holding cell where they throw you if you kick a giant mouse in the butt).

GB

I have a friend who was sent to a holding cell on Disney property until he could be transferred to the county drunk tank. It was in relation to his colleague getting into a fist fight at Pleasure Island after one to many drinks. My friend claims when security was "man-handling" his colleague he put his hand on the security guards shoulder to say something like "Hey, relax dude", when he got jumped by security too. They hauled them all off and were told they were never allowed back on Disney property.

So, apparently, there is a "Disney Jail". Not being too familiar with the area, my friend couldn't describe to me where it was, so I'm not sure where it is, but apparently, he was thrown into it. Also, I think in his frame of mind, he probably wasn't retaining to many directional memories of the time.

I was once "removed" from Magic Kingdom, after I punched Snow White in the face. I swear she was lookin at me funny. I was given a lifetime band, although it wasn't a bracelet or anything.

Just the day before I decked Mickey Mouse in the gut, because he called me a not so nice name behind my back.

I also didn't like waiting in line, so I would just walk straight up to the loading area of attractions and hop on, for some reason other people who liked waiting in line didn't like that.

I don't like paying for food so I generally leave before the check arrives so I don't have to pay. At counter service establishments I just walk up to where they are giving out food and take a tray.

I don't like paying for souveniers either. I like to just put everything I like in my bag and walk out.

For some strange reason, Disney doesn't like the things I do.

I don't think I like hanging out there anyway.

Teee Heeee! ;) :)

This actually happened to a member of our band when we went around 1989. I remember before we went to the parks our band director told us not to do anything stupid b/c Disney had eyes everywhere. Sure enough, the guy who always had to mess things up thought it would be funny to try to shoplift. He was tossed out of the park, sent home at his parents expense, and kicked out of the band. But you know those percussionists, always causing trouble ;)

Disclaimer: the above joke in no way reflects on the morality of all other percussionists. Opinions expressed are exaggerated for humorous effect.
