Removed from the park

Back in the early 80's, I was going through the turnstyle, and saw a young woman denied entry to the park because she was wearing a skimpy (ahem, very skimpy) bikini top and low-rise hip-huggers. The CM's gave her a tee-shirt to put over herself, but she refused. So, they wouldn't let her in. They gave her a lecture about this being a family venue, etc. and not to come back unless she was properly dressed. Her boyfriend was soooo embarassed. WOW! I sure wish they'd kept up that practice!!! It's a free for all, nowadays. The sights you see....

I saw a girl refused entry at AK just this past summer in a bikini top--they told her it was because it only had ties to secure it, and well, those can be easily untied. She was not a happy camper, for sure, and was pitching quite a fit, but the CM escorting her out was quite firm on the matter, although polite--she wasn't getting in in that top, period. I didn't stick around to see if she changed, but she didn't seem to want to budge either.

Let me get this straight now....what I have learned from this thread is that people who rent from Robo get thrown out of WDW because they tell bad jokes????? And several posters have taken a fence (what? oh, I mean offense) to these bad jokes and are forced to wear a t-shirt with a plant on it named Maryjane? And it all ends with several other posters behind Robo's back on TU, TR and SAT?

and back on TOPIC ... I never thought of people trying to get in wearing bathing suits! I think offering a tee shirt was really nice of Disney. I'm not sure why anyone would make it a point to spoil a day by not accepting that!

I was reading a post here earlier talking about a certain "T-shirt", which made me think about a T-shirt or was it a picture?? (My ADD just kicked in).....Any way, it had the princesses from Disney on it making really cute and funny faces and I think the caption was something about not being perfect all the time or something to that nature. Does anyone know what in the world I'm talking about?
Heck! I'm starting to wonder if I know what I'm talking about.... sorry ADD again. Would that keep someone form getting into the park? I was thinking it might be a no no because I don't think it's a Disney designed T-shirt and it's making fun of The Princess Posse, also does anyone know where this kind of shirt could be found? <was that sly enough to pass for the topic here?> he he

This actually happened to a member of our band when we went around 1989. I remember before we went to the parks our band director told us not to do anything stupid b/c Disney had eyes everywhere. Sure enough, the guy who always had to mess things up thought it would be funny to try to shoplift. He was tossed out of the park, sent home at his parents expense, and kicked out of the band. But you know those percussionists, always causing trouble

Now that I think of it...In highschool we went on a trip...my now brother-in-law was on that trip also....and he stole like 5 necklaces from disney and didn't get caught(i didn't find out that he stole them till after the trip)....I wonder if disney would give me a trip if I turned him in??

Robo-When we moved out of our first apartment (many moons ago), we took the light bulbs with us, cuz-DUH-we had paid for them....The landlord was not so happy about that and took it out of our deposit. We were dillholes and honestly thought we were entitled to our lightbulbs. Long story short-your renting joke was funny and you can add me to your team.

i saw the infamouns mickey shirt, and it is clearly during Mardi Gras, and in the french quarter. This is one of the most tame costumes you will ever see on Mardi gras day in the french quarter. You should see the ones with dalmations, various princesses (not necessarily women dressed in those outfits), with some peter pan types sprinkled in.

Disney is known to be gay friendly, and i'm sure there might even be some CM's in the Mardi Gras crowd (or costumes) - who knows what any of these people do in their private lives. For that matter, do you WANT to know what that CM at Disney does at night, in the privacy of their own home. In case you didn't know, there's a female that's most recently become famous, and she was a former character princess at Disney.

anyway, if you want to see the shirt, google the key phrase mardi gras meets mickey mouse. You will see several links to the same picture, apparently from either 2005 or 2006.
