Need some help and suggestions. Bathroom is small with a light tan tile on the floor and shower. Wainscotting half way up the walls. Cant decide on what color to paint.

Thanks!!!

Depends on your preferences. :)
Seems like any room I have ever painted, later I had wished I had gone one color darker. But a small room is hard.
I seem to be partial to golds and sea foam type greens.
Go to a paint store and take home lots of chips.
When I am in doubt, I even have the store mix the smallest amount they can. Then I brush a small section of various walls.
Sometimes a small can will cost almost as much as a gallon.
It may cost me $40 to do this, but when I have, I have always been very happy with the outcome.
Better to do this than stay with a color you don't really like, or repaint again in a very short time.
I prefer Sherwin Williams stores/paints.

I've painted my upstairs bath purple. I also have Wainscotting and painted it solid in the medium shade. Above it I painted a darker shade and then sponged on the next 2 lighter shades. Turned out pretty good, I'm going to paint my smaller bath lime green stripes.

Our upstairs bathroom is white tile floors and white with navy blue tile for the tub/shower surround. Having a white floor was the worst mistake we could have made. No matter how often I clean it , it always looks dirty.

We're remodling a bathroom too. We like Behr paint. Our bathroom has a light brown tile. It's going to be painted in a "Magnolia Blossom" white (It has a slight yellow cast too it. Didn't want a bright white.) And we are going to paint (medium sized) stripes of "Classic Taupe" on the mirrored wall.

It'll be fun to accessorize with additional colors. :)

If you don't have anything specific in mind, sometimes it's easier to start with your accessories and towels first. Then pick a coordinating color from those. :D

You could also try a faux finish. They are really very easy once you get the hang of it. You could try bagging it. Pain the wall a solid color in a flat finish, then buy a quart (or even pint) of a color 1 or 2 shades darker. Scruch plastic bags in a ball, dip in the darker color, wipe most off on a paper towel, then dab all over the walls, trying to overlap a little (this avoids the polka-dot look). Basically this just gives the walls some dimension. If you need more info, let me know.

We, too, have white tile on the floor and shower stall but painted the walls a seafoam green.
