TruBlu- My Daddy who never got to know his grandchildren here on Earth. I lost him way too early.
Kathy C- I'd like to remember my mom who died of breast cancer almost four years ago at 64. She loved the holidays!
dogodisney- My dad who Feb 12th,1999 at the age of 62 and my mom who passed away Feb 14th, 2002 at the age of 63. Since it was Valentines Day (also the anniversary of her father's death) when she passed away, I had said she went to be with her sweetheart. My mom and dad had been married for 42 years. My mom loved Christmas and always made it special. Christmas is no longer the same for me. I'm hoping our trip will make it brighter.

tkbbmom- While we have lost many special family members and friends the one who is most heavily on my heart this year and the one who brings tears to my eyes so frequently these holidays is my daddy. His name was Marcus and he lost a five month battle to cancer on Jan 22 of this year. He loved Christmas and everyday - we had planned to take my parents to Disney this year as a Christmas treat --instead it's just us. I miss him so much and my dc - esp my little one and my oldest hurt so much from the loss.

IMALOVNDISNEY- My Mom (Peggy)who was a CRAZY WOMAN during Christmas. Our house was decorated over the top. Wrapping paper on the window and lamp shades. Curtains made out of Christmas table cloths. Everyone loved our house during the holidays (except for us kids that lived there).. Now my dsis and I do some of those things that used to drive us nuts. She passed in 1992. My DD was born in 1994 and I know she was a gift from my Mother. She truly is my DD's Guardian Angel. Also, my Brother(Michael) who will be gone 8 years on the 23rd. of this month. Yes, 2 days before Christmas. There's not a day that goes by that I don't miss them. I feel them with me always. And I cherish my memories.
CarolAnnC- In honor of my husband Michael, who passed suddenly leaving his family at far too young an age. We treasure our memories, still feel the love, but also have an ache that will always be there for him. Prayers and hugs to everyone participating in this thread, too...
DIsNeYSweEtHrTs- I'd like to remember my mom. She passed away Nov. 22, 2009 at the young age of 50. I love you so much mom. I'll see you again someday...
Coach K- I want to remember the 2 women that are the most important in any man's life. My wife has been gone for 9 months now and, with her being a big Disney and Christmas fan, it is going to be tough for the first Christmas without her. She would take days to decorate the house! The other one is my mother. She's been gone almost 6 months now. All of us (her 6 sons-that's right, no daughters ) rallied around her when my father passed away almost 10 years ago. I miss them all terribly, but family and friends have been great with the invitations to dinner, party's etc.
Let's hope we all get through this time with a smile on our face and the memories of our departed love ones in our hearts.
