if i book room(with passes & dining) package now and a better deal comes along what would happen? for example if free dining came about (& rooms were available) could i just tranfer the whole thing and have the extra money refunded or on credit ? how about if they would do one of the "pay for 3 get 2 free" type deals...would that be transferable also. guess i am wondering how locked into a non promo package i am if something better comes along.

and for the deposit for a package... is it a straight $200 or does it depend on the room per night, number of rooms or what.

I have a AAA Grand Gathering trip planned in December.

I was told by a CRO CM in Grand Gatherings (they seem to be more experienced than the "normal" CM's) that if a code for free dining they can apply the code to the existing reservation and I will get the discount.

This would mean that all of my important numbers (3 room reservation numbers, Grand Gathering number, 8 ADR numbers, etc.) would all stay the same.

I'm thinking at this point that no general codes are forthcoming.

We had a package booked with dining. Then when the free dining came out, all it took was one simple phone call and the amount was deducted right away.

and yes, the deposit is a flat $200.
