That's simply not ture.
I accept that you don't believe in God.
And I accept that you don't understand what it's like to need to have God.

But I understand that I won't understand what it feels like to be you.

To me, I think I feel the exact same as you..although you'd probably want to disagree.
The difference being you probably feel you need God to guide you.
I just feel like all I need are my family and friends.

I just can't understand how you'd be able to function without God.

Well, not to brag, but I seem to be doing pretty fine..better than a lot of people in the world.. so it seems pretty obvious to me that it is in fact possible.

Honey, unfortunetly that is why we are all different people and if you believe in God you already know that God made everyone in there own way so no one can walk in anyones elses shoes or feel what anyone else is feeling.

I am my own rock.
God is not my rock, my friends and family are not my rock. I'm solitary a lot, I can't depend on one person.
Obviously my parents are like a rock, but I don't tell them all sorts of things, I mean we aren't like best friends.
You might think it's sad, but I'm fine with it.

He'll never backstab you or tell anyone your secrets.
And. He already knows everything about your life, but still wants you to tell him about it anyways.

And... the friends I met through Him... are the best, most fun people and friends I could ever ask for.

They do so much for me.
And they love me to no end.
Just like God.

And. I dunno. I could go on forever about all the great stuff God does for me.

I hate it when people get all 'OMG YOU DON'T BELIEVE IN GOD OR JESUS?!!'

The other day, I tell a customer to 'Have a nice day' and then he's like 'You too, and may god be with you.'
I kind of gave him a funny look because I've never been told that.
And then he's like 'You believe in god right?'
It was so rude and unexpected, I just kind of moved my head so he would think I said yes, but never actually did say yes.

Like I can survive without faith in something.
And it's not the end of the world.

I believe in God, I'm just not sure of which God in which religion.

I truely believe there is something out there watching over you at all times, regardless of your faith or opinions. Maybe a guardian angel, maybe God? I don't know.
I think we've all had those moments where you think "Oh my gosh, why did I survive thru that?". I've had it with my cancer, and I've heard it from almost car accidents and almost bad experiances. I really do believe there is someone out there who protects you.

And he has the power to do things.

And, no imaginary friend can do that.

i just have to comment though...in some of the earlier posts (yes i read through this entire thread...) when some newer people were saying things about how this isn't appropriate for the TB/Dis I actually LOLed.
You guys will soon see how strong our opinions are, how much we LOVE debating each other, how mature and well-spoken most of us (even the younger ones--and not that i'm assuming you think we're immature/not well-spoken)) are and how UNrelated to Disney most of our threads are.

I always love these threads though, because no matter how much we butt heads in these threads we can go on to the next thread and be friends again.

Just had to comment....resume your debate. I'll watch from the sidelines.
