Yeah. It said a couple guys came back from the dead actually.
Not all the animals in the world. 7 or 2 of all the different kinds.
And actually, miss science, Scholars have estimated that almost 45,000 animals could have fit into the boat. It was a big boat, built exactly to God's specifications.
In the first place, can you please give me a source where these scholars have posted their findings? (It's funny that you call me miss science, I'm an art student

)
Well seeing that there are roughly 1 -2 million named species, that boat would need room for 4 million species. Seeing as how the world was supposedly flooded, they would have to carry not only all terrestial animals (reptiles, amphibians, mammals, insects, ect....) the ark would also have to carry all freshwater fish and most birds. On top of that, the ark would also have to carry food and supplies for all these animals, which would also take up a considerable amount of space (at least half the boat).
And there is also no evidence for a global flood (which, if it occured, would have a great deal of evidence). The flood in the bible was most likely an exaggeration of a flood in the red sea or in the surrounding area.
Um. There are countless versions and revisions because it's God's will to get it to everyone in as many ways as possible. And if that means writing a ''street bible'' in language that ''street people'' can understand then we'll write it. Obviously, it had to be translated so everyone could have His word. Because at one time everyone wanted it. Just like the Harry Potter books. They've been translated into many different languages because of the high demand for them too.
Really? I'm not just talking languages, I mean changes within the content and rules put forth in the bible to suit the needs of whoever was using it to control the population, let alone languages. And why all the assumption that it's your bible that is 'his word'? You do realize that there are many other religions with a holy text, and there is nothing that makes the bible so special. Like most holy texts the bible is just an accumulation of older religions and mythology, as well as changes made by people to suit them and/or the veiwpoints of that time.
Who says God can't get it sraight?
Nomi and PowerMonkey, i'm sorry, but I skip over most of your posts. They're filled with too much scientific garble for me. I hate science class, and that's what they seem like. So I skim them. So sorry if I miss major points or anything.
You do not understand something, so you ignore it and decide it must not be true? Thats a great way to go about things....
An interesting side note. I love science, but I'm usually bored stiff in bio... I think it's just the format in which things are taught. The teracher makes a big difference too. Last year I had a great bio teacher, and the class was very fun and interesting. This year, my bio teacher was boring, and the difference is very noticable. Most kids fall asleep.
