Oh, lots of Graeter's love on here! See, Cincinnati is more than chili and the Bungals!

My personal favorite of Graeter's actually goes against my absolute hatred of OSU. Yes, I said hate. It is what it is. That school burned me with both universities I attended. Anyway, Graeter's has a Buckey Blitz that I just adore. Hands down favorite ice cream flavor, despite the name. I have to ignore some things for the love of kick *** ice cream.

ABSOLUTELY 100%!!

And the scary thing is my daughter is considering that university.

Of course, it’s a good school academically, and provides what she would need for her major, but oh it stings. I told her I would root for her, but not the school if that’s where she ends up. She laughed. She was raised to cheer for Michigan schools, esp Spartans. She is well aware of my disdain for them.

Neapolitan reminds me of my grandmas house when I was little, she always had some in a carton in the freezer & it was fancy pants, makes me smile to remember.

My adult favorites are Haagen Daz Coffee and Strawberry, at an ice cream place I pick soft white with oodles of sprinkles. There was a girl at the local ice cream place that would leave a cavern in the middle of the swirl and fill it with sprinkles for me then top it off with more ice cream, she was my favorite

Sorry that your kid is thinking about it for their studies. I told my child that they could choose any school and I will pay for their undergrad degree, EXCEPT Ohio State and Michigan State. But fortunately, they get their medical treatment at UofM's Mott Children's Hospital so they bleed maize and blue. I do think it would be better if your kid went to MSU, at least keep the tuition in Michigan!

She still has time to decide. Wherever she goes I just want her to be happy!

Doesn't Embry Riddle have a good aviation program? I could be wrong but I thought they did...

I believe it’s mid-way down the line of consideration.

I’ve learned to not ask much right now, she wants to choose herself. Which I understand as my parents allowed me that luxury too. And if I push my opinion hard, (I’m all for ASU) it’ll be nixed. Lol

They do.

But she wanted a school that has other fields. She is considering a different major, although pursuing aviation. That’s what dh did and it is smart planning in case things happen and you can’t fly.

Aviation is changing so much right now since they are in dire need. Our summer focus is honing in on what route to tackle.
