Relaxation, Disney Style, PTR. ~*TRIP REPORT HAS STARTED! 9/18 Pg. 155*~

Yay for more changes!:cheer2: It wouldn't be a LL report without them!! I think you made a great decision, so worth what you're getting and future trips! Yay you!!!!:thumbsup2

Love the costumes, you guys will be adorable! I say put the scarf in your hair, for sure! :cutie:

My favorite land, although I love them all, I'd have to say Fantasyland, my least favorite? I'd have to say Toon town, too, my kids love it, I tolerate it, I do like the Character tents back there though!!:goodvibes

You are SO close! You guys must be SOOOOO excited right about now!!

You know my heart belongs to Adventureland!!! I just love the feel of it, too! :lovestruc

Liberty Square is really neat, too. If I went with my second favorite land, it would have to be that one -- after all, Haunted Mansion is one of my favorite rides!

I am with you on Toon Town. I can't say that I am mourning the loss of it at all with the new Fantasyland expansion!

I can't pick. Each trip I have different favorite and it usually has something to do with what I missed out on from the trip before. I have reason to like them all. I do have to agree Toon Town is way too crowded.

I have a question. When they sing the opening song they "7 lands and more". What happens after they close Toon Town? For some reason this has crossed my mind quite a few times.

The thing about your changes is, that you really are managing to make your trip better every time you change something!! :thumbsup2:thumbsup2 I absolutely agree that getting the APs is the right decision.

Oh and I also agree on your favourite MK land: Liberty Square.

Two weeks from today - is that correct?!?!? :cool1:

Love the costumes. The bowling shirt is so cool!

OOOHH! Favorite MK land ...... :scratchin hmmmm it's a toss up between Frontier Land and Main Street.
Least favorite would be Toon town or Tomorrow Land.

Favorite land? Adventureland no question, although Tomorrowland is a close second. Least favorite would have to be Toon Town. I didn't even make it back there until a few years ago, and sometimes don't make it there every trip.

Ooo...that's a tough question. I'd probably pick Toon Town for my least fav as well. It's just not as well done as all the rest of the lands. I think I may have to pick Adventureland as well....home of the Dole Whip!!!! I read somewhere about the location of certain lands being close to/across from the hotels that best match them. Adventureland-Poly, Tomorrowland-Contemporary...neat, huh?
That is neat and it works for Tomorrowland and the Contemporary especially.

15 days! Yahoo!!!
I'm so excited to see you write 2 weeks tomorrow. I used to frequent trying to get pregnant boards (not that I EVER had any trouble in that area) but anyway this is a little TMI but everyone would say they were in the two week wait after ovulation but before testing. So tomorrow you will be in a Disney two week wait. Well, I hope your two week go faster than having to find out if you are having a baby!

Favorite land....
hmm, it changes every trip.
This time I am most looking forward to Adventureland for sure. I didn't get to do Swiss Family Treehouse being pregnant and holding a 1 year-old so I am excited for that. Plus, my DD is totally into that movie. And DS1 is totally into Pirates and they will be getting pirate makeovers so that is my answer. For now.
Least favorite...
Toon Town. Yuck. Last trip it was just dirty looking. And nothing in Disney is dirty looking. Can't wait for the new Fantasyland expansion. I think it is great what they just announced last week about that as well.
:lmao: Yes, this is a very different two weeks, no babies yet. :rotfl2:

Favorite land: Fantasyland! I love that place! It's really is all of the magic in the parks wrapped up in one little land. All of the rides take me back to when I was 8 on my first trip!

Least favorite: I'd probably go with Toontown also. It's small, the themeing doesn't follow through completely and it gets so darn crowded.
I do love Fantasyland, it's probably my second favorite land.

More changes, huh? Well, I'm sure you'll enjoy a whole stay at Riverside though.

The costumes look great. How cute that the bowling shirt had Marc's name on it. Plus the poodle skirt doesn't look too hot, which should be nice for Florida.

As for favorite land, undoubtably Fantasyland. It's just so charming. Hopefully the new Fantasyland expansion will make it even better. My least favorite is probably Tomorrowland. I do like Buzz Lightyear, the TTA and Monsters Inc, but for the most part it's just not my thing.
More changes...it's a disease for me when I'm planning a trip apparently.

I love the bowling shirt, I asked him if he minded if I put his name on it and he said go for it. I was surprised, I thought he wouldn't want it on there.

I wouldn't have guessed your least favorite is Tomorrowland, I think Tomorrowland is my second least favorite. It just doesn't appeal to me.

A man after my own heart. :thumbsup2

Although, I must say, you have a toss up for me. I love both lands you love because they house two of my favorite rides. Pirates and The Haunted Mansion!
I knew you'd be happy with his choice.

Favorite MK Land - Fantasyland hands down. It just screams Disney magic. I like to sort of include Haunted Mansion in there though!

Least Favorite - Toon Town - I don't spend much time there, although I think the houses are cute. We did Pixie Hollow once and that was enough.
Up until this last trip, I might have said Frontierland, but now that we LOVE BTMRR, I just can't say that!

Leslie - can you only get the TIW card if you have an AP? It allows discount on alcoholic beverages too right?
Nope, sorry, can't include HM in Fantasyland. :rotfl2:

Yes, only if you have the AP or Florida resident and I believe it does discount on alcoholic beverages as well.

Yay for getting an AP! :woohoo: Isn't it exciting having one?! My voucher came in the mail the other day and I was so excited - I can't wait to use it! :goodvibes

I love love love your costumes! You two are going to look so amazing in them!

As for my favorite MK land, I think I have to go with Fantasyland, just because it reminds me of my childhood. Frontierland is a close second. :thumbsup2
Woo Hoo! I'm so excited. I haven't bought it yet, still trying to figure out if I should buy it online and just do will call or just purchase it down there. I don't know.

My favorite land is Tomorrowland. It's just feels so techy and I love that! :goodvibes Every time we enter it big smiles spread across both my and Joe's faces, it just feels so magical to us! We love everything about it - the rides, the look, the music...even the geometric topiaries!

My least favorite is probably Liberty Square, sorry! :flower3: I do like it though, but I had to pick a least favorite.
:snooty: Hmph! :rotfl2: Just kidding!! It evens out, Tomorroland isn't my favorite. :lmao:

Favorite MK....I guess I will go with Tomorrowland.....Toon Town would hands down be my least favorite....I was there once to say I was there ;) Although not technically a "land"...nothing beats the feeling of that first walk down Main Street :cloud9:

Sometimes all of this favorite/dislike picking is making me stressed :rotfl2: It's like going to a restaurant and seeing all of the things I like and I can't pick!!! :lmao:

Tracy
I would agree, Main Street is probably the best of them all!

I'm sorry I'm stressing you out.

:cool1: Woo hoo for 15 days!

My favorite land is definitely Fantasyland. To me the true magic of Disney lives there! :goodvibes

I don't really have a least favorite! My kiddos love The Barnstormer and the playground in toontown, not to mention Mickey and Minnie's houses! So, I can't pick that. I love the rest of the park so much there is no way I can pick one!
It's okay, I won't force you to pick a least favorite.

Changes again??????? Your poor travel agent. :rotfl:

I think your decision to get an AP is an excellent one! They really are cost effective when you use them for 2 or 3 trips. It makes much more sense and I am frankly surprised that more people don't get them.

Plus its cool to know you can take off and go anytime you want. It really gives you a sense of the magic.

So favorite land - I'm gonna go with Tomorrowland. It just reminds me of my first few trips to Disney when it was absolutely essential that my first park day was always spent in MK and my first ride was always Space Mountain.

Least Favorite - Probably adventureland. Not sure why, but I always feel out of sorts there. I feel like it should be bigger or there should be some other great ride hiding back there.
Oh, I'm my own travel agent. So no worries on that, I just stress myself out with all the changes I make. :rotfl:

I really would like to plan about 5 trips this year....too bad I can't convince Marc of that.

ps....cute costumes and love the tie-dye mickey!
Thanks!

I like your changes! And costumes :thumbsup2 I will have to catch up on the rest of the like/dislike things though :rotfl:
Thanks, I can't wait to hear about your trip!!

15 days!! :yay:

I agree with Tracy, although not technically a land, my very favorite would have to be Main St. Followed closely by Adventureland.

Least favorite definitely Toon Town. I've been through once but that was it. I did just hear that it's still open and likely to remain so through the end of the year (I thought it had already closed) so I may go tour some of it just to say I have.

Mndisneygirl - yes have to be an AP holder and/or FL resident to purchase TIW and does give discount on all including alchohol! :woohoo:
I might check out Toon Town a bit too, not sure though. We'll see what happens!

WOOT WOOT for 15days!! I can't believe tomorrow you can say in two weeks!! How Exciting!!!

My favorite land has to be Liberty Square...it holds my beloved Haunted Mansion!
TWO WEEKS TWO WEEKS TWO WEEKS! Oh and I knew we were bffs for a reason. ;)

Yay for more changes!:cheer2: It wouldn't be a LL report without them!! I think you made a great decision, so worth what you're getting and future trips! Yay you!!!!:thumbsup2

I enjoy the character tents too, they are very cute and I love that shop they have. It has a lot of neat things in there.

You know my heart belongs to Adventureland!!! I just love the feel of it, too! :lovestruc

Liberty Square is really neat, too. If I went with my second favorite land, it would have to be that one -- after all, Haunted Mansion is one of my favorite rides!

Adventureland is very Jackie. I knew that would be your answer!

I have a question. When they sing the opening song they "7 lands and more". What happens after they close Toon Town? For some reason this has crossed my mind quite a few times.
I have no idea! but that is a very good question.

The thing about your changes is, that you really are managing to make your trip better every time you change something!! :thumbsup2:thumbsup2 I absolutely agree that getting the APs is the right decision.

Oh and I also agree on your favourite MK land: Liberty Square.
That is very true, each change does make the trip better! I will have to point that out to Marc when he teases me about all the changes again.

Two weeks from today - is that correct?!?!? :cool1:

Love the costumes. The bowling shirt is so cool!
Yayayaya!! TWO WEEKS!!!

MeMom beat me to the celebration!!!

TWO WEEKS!!! :woohoo:

What will you be doing at exactly this time two weeks from today?
That post will be coming up. I've been busy this morning since I have to leave early for an appointment. It might wait until I get home tonight.

Two weeks! That is it!! You are almost there!!!
:cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:
Almost!! So very close!!

Two weeks is so stinkin close!!!

Yes it is. I am so very ready for it to be two weeks for now!

By one whole minute! :goodvibes

As for me, I'll be right here at this same desk.

But I'll be very excited for my sweet DIS friend as she takes off on another fun adventure! :dance3:
Yayayaya! I'm ready for my adventure!

2 weeks!!!!!!!:cloud9:
:woohoo:

OOOHH! Favorite MK land ...... :scratchin hmmmm it's a toss up between Frontier Land and Main Street.
Least favorite would be Toon town or Tomorrow Land.
Good choices all around.

Is it time for the two weeks game???
Almost, the update will probably be later this afternoon or tonight. I have to leave work in less than an hour for an appointment and I still have things to get finished before then.

Favorite land? Adventureland no question, although Tomorrowland is a close second. Least favorite would have to be Toon Town. I didn't even make it back there until a few years ago, and sometimes don't make it there every trip.
I've only been back there once, it's not something that attracts my attention.

Two Weeks!! :yay:

I'm so excited. Two weeks from this very moment, 11:20AM, I will be in FLORDIA!!! :dance3:

In Two Weeks...

Flight departs at 7AM, still haven't decided if we are staying the night before near the airport or just driving there in the morning.

southwest-airlines.jpg

Flight arrives at approx. 10:10AM. I'm hoping we land early, on all my flights to Orlando I have. I just don't talk about it out loud, don't want to jinx myself. Typing is okay.

Take the very merry Magical Express to RIVERSIDE!!

PortOrleans-0170-Oct2007.jpg

Check in, scope out room if ready if not check carry ons with bell services. Hopefully my request for a Mansion room will be honored, I don't want to have to go all hissy on them. ;) In all reality if they try to put me in Alligator Bayou, I'll start crying and then I'll feel like a crying loser. I really really want to stay in the Mansions!

Either pick up park ticket for Marc & my AP, or pay for it. Which brings me to a question. Should I purchase my AP in advance? Or should I just buy it when I get there. I don't have time for them to send it to me since we are leaving so soon so I would do will call. Do you think it matters? There is a ticket window at MK right? I don't have to go to the ticket and transportation center, right?

Head to Magic Kingdom for a very special DIS meet with Brookelizabeth!!! I'm so excited for this meet, the plan is to ride Haunted Mansion which will be Brook's very first ride EVER. It will also be Marc & I's first ride of the trip, a very fitting favorite. I'm really excited, it should be a lovely meet!

DisneyJan2010Day1andDay2190.jpg

After that....we have no plans! :lmao: No ADRs and no concrete plans. If we decide to get Marc the park hopper on his ticket then I'm thinking I might want to head over to Animal Kingdom for the evening EMH's but honestly...anything can happen! We'll be in Disney World!! :yay:

You know what my first ride will be at Magic Kingdom, what ride do you like to ride first at Magic Kingdom??

Woohoo for two weeks!!!!!

You can buy your AP at the guest relations window outside of Magic Kingdom. That is what I would do anyways because when you order it online or call and order it all they do is send you a voucher card in the mail to trade in when you actually get there for your actual AP so you won't be saving a step by ordering it early.
