Relaxation, Disney Style, PTR. ~*TRIP REPORT HAS STARTED! 9/18 Pg. 155*~

I think you made a good swaps. The possibilities of more trips is always a good choice.:thumbsup2

Your costumes are so cute. I can't wait to see the pictures from your trip.

Being an AP holder is one decision I have never regretted! I can't wait every year to renew LOL!! I will probably renew every year for the rest of my life LOL!!

:lmao: Glad I'm not the only one! It is the sunshine of my life. That and my TIW card :worship:

:yay: for the AP!! I think it is also offset by not having to pack/move/unpack. I am not one for that.....I like to unpack once and put my suitcase far, far, away ;)
LOVE the costumes!!! I think you should wear the scarf in both your hair and on your neck....you can change it up throughout the night :) Whatever way you are feeling..just go with it! :thumbsup2 Which reminds me I still haven't purchased my tickets for MNSSHP!:rolleyes1
LOVE the tie dye too!!!! Supercute! :cutie:

Tracy
Yes, I'd like to just put my suitcase far away so that I don't have to go home.

I'm thinking it's going to be too hot to it around my neck, I don't want to be completely sweaty. :lmao:

The AP is so dangerous.

A very good dangerous. ::yes::

You are planning 2 trips now, hoping for a 3rd? I bet that 3rd will be a reality! Those APs burn holes in your pocket, I swear it! After you get an AP rate on the room (which ROCK!), cheap airfare and discounted food with that TiW, you'll squeeze in a trip. Been there, done that - and PLANNING to "squeeze" in our July 4 trip that Joe keeps shooting down. :rolleyes1 "We have APs, we have the points, airfare is only $X, we can eat Pop Tarts in the room!" Muahahaha!:cool2:

You got the AP rate on POR, right? I hope you get your Mickey Monitor too - I never got a copy last time I was an AP holder. :sad2:
Oh, I think it will be a wonderful dangerous, I really love the idea of having one. Marc also has already asked about the renewal rate so there you go. :rotfl2:

I didn't get the AP rate, I had the pincode so it was cheaper than the AP rate. :thumbsup2

I got so excited about the AP I forgot to mention how stinkin' adorable your costumes are!!! LOVE THEM! That bowling shirt for Marc is so awesome! Where did you find that and your poodle skirt again???
Thank you!! Marc's shirt I bought from a website called Daddy-O's Bowling shirts and I bought my skirt from Etsy.

YAY for happy changes and buying an AP!! Being an AP holder is one decision I have never regretted! I can't wait every year to renew LOL!! I will probably renew every year for the rest of my life LOL!!

Love your costumes!! You guys are going to look so cute!!!!!
Thank you. I'm excited that is for sure!

I highly recommend the Tables in Wonderland card. Ours has more than paid for itself. If you walk over to French Quarter at any point during your trip it works at their food court because they don't have a table service. What is better than beignets in Disney World? Beignats in Disney World with a 20% discount!!!!
I'm very excited about the TIW card. I know it will pay for itself between this trip and January. So anything after that will be a big ol' bonus.

16 Days? Wow! That means on Wednesday, it will only be 14 days!!! Hurray! Hurray!

I would have gladly traded the Poly for an AP, too! Although, I had to laugh a little at your resort change -- reminds me of myself. ;)

I love, love, love your costumes! Your skirt is too cute, and Marc's shirt is fabulous! I can't wait to see you all dressed up for the party!
I have problems with planning and making changes. :lmao: It's a sickness.

I think we are going to look really cute. Others better be dressed up! :lmao:

I'm laughing at all the changes that are still going on!

An AP is a fantastic decision... its so worth giving up 2 days of the Poly for a longer trip in January ;) and a possible August trip!!

The costumes are gonna be great!

Kathy
I think the trade off is really worth it. I really hope the trip next August works out too. Ideally each year I'd have a girls trip and then a trip with Marc. :rolleyes1

Wow! I think it's a great change!! As great as staying at the Poly would be, you can stay in one spot and enjoy some AP discounts! I guess there must be a break even point in days of visiting parks where the AP makes more sense than buying tickets? I was just looking at that the other day with the DVC discount. Trying to figure out how many days I would need to go to make it worth it. The DVC discount is pretty good on them too.
Of course, at this point, I have no trip planned!! :( Isn't that awful??

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!!! your costumes! Super cute! I am trying to come up with costumes for the annual neighborhood adults only party. Some people are SO creative!! I'd love to do something Disney themed of course.
I'm not sure what the break is. I'm just barely at it for January but add in the park hoppers I don't have to pay for and adding more days to January then it makes it well worth it.

You need to get a trip planned!!!

I think you made a good swaps. The possibilities of more trips is always a good choice.:thumbsup2

Your costumes are so cute. I can't wait to see the pictures from your trip.
Thank you. I'm excited to dress up, I have never dressed as an adult.

:lmao: Glad I'm not the only one! It is the sunshine of my life. That and my TIW card :worship:
I have a feeling I am going to become very attached to my AP and TIW card.

15 days until Disney!! Yahoooo!!

9 days until Vacation from Work!!!

6 more classes at school!!

1 more day until I can stop my mail online. :rotfl:

I'm sooooooooooo ready for vacation. It needs to hurry up and get here!

Favorite Magic Kingdom Land

Marc - Adventureland

He states that how can your favorite land not be Adventureland when they have Pirates? :lmao: He also likes the feel of Adventureland, he says it reminds him of the Poly in a way.

Leslie - Liberty Square

Marc was shocked that I didn't pick Fantasyland. I just adore Liberty Square, it speaks to the History geek inside of me. I wish I could have lived during Colonial times.

Of course, we talked favorite MK lands then we talked about our least favorite.

We have the same answer. Toon Town. It's not that I don't enjoy Toon Town, but it's probably the land that I spend the least amount of time in. Marc says he's never even been back there.

Tell me your favorite and least favorite MK land. :goodvibes

Ooo...that's a tough question. I'd probably pick Toon Town for my least fav as well. It's just not as well done as all the rest of the lands. I think I may have to pick Adventureland as well....home of the Dole Whip!!!! I read somewhere about the location of certain lands being close to/across from the hotels that best match them. Adventureland-Poly, Tomorrowland-Contemporary...neat, huh?

15 days! Yahoo!!!
I'm so excited to see you write 2 weeks tomorrow. I used to frequent trying to get pregnant boards (not that I EVER had any trouble in that area) but anyway this is a little TMI but everyone would say they were in the two week wait after ovulation but before testing. So tomorrow you will be in a Disney two week wait. Well, I hope your two week go faster than having to find out if you are having a baby!

Favorite land....
hmm, it changes every trip.
This time I am most looking forward to Adventureland for sure. I didn't get to do Swiss Family Treehouse being pregnant and holding a 1 year-old so I am excited for that. Plus, my DD is totally into that movie. And DS1 is totally into Pirates and they will be getting pirate makeovers so that is my answer. For now.
Least favorite...
Toon Town. Yuck. Last trip it was just dirty looking. And nothing in Disney is dirty looking. Can't wait for the new Fantasyland expansion. I think it is great what they just announced last week about that as well.

Favorite land: Fantasyland! I love that place! It's really is all of the magic in the parks wrapped up in one little land. All of the rides take me back to when I was 8 on my first trip!

Least favorite: I'd probably go with Toontown also. It's small, the themeing doesn't follow through completely and it gets so darn crowded.

More changes, huh? Well, I'm sure you'll enjoy a whole stay at Riverside though.

The costumes look great. How cute that the bowling shirt had Marc's name on it. Plus the poodle skirt doesn't look too hot, which should be nice for Florida.

As for favorite land, undoubtably Fantasyland. It's just so charming. Hopefully the new Fantasyland expansion will make it even better. My least favorite is probably Tomorrowland. I do like Buzz Lightyear, the TTA and Monsters Inc, but for the most part it's just not my thing.

He states that how can your favorite land not be Adventureland when they have Pirates? :lmao:

A man after my own heart. :thumbsup2

Although, I must say, you have a toss up for me. I love both lands you love because they house two of my favorite rides. Pirates and The Haunted Mansion!

Favorite MK Land - Fantasyland hands down. It just screams Disney magic. I like to sort of include Haunted Mansion in there though!

Least Favorite - Toon Town - I don't spend much time there, although I think the houses are cute. We did Pixie Hollow once and that was enough.
Up until this last trip, I might have said Frontierland, but now that we LOVE BTMRR, I just can't say that!

Leslie - can you only get the TIW card if you have an AP? It allows discount on alcoholic beverages too right?

Yay for getting an AP! :woohoo: Isn't it exciting having one?! My voucher came in the mail the other day and I was so excited - I can't wait to use it! :goodvibes

I love love love your costumes! You two are going to look so amazing in them!

As for my favorite MK land, I think I have to go with Fantasyland, just because it reminds me of my childhood. Frontierland is a close second. :thumbsup2

My favorite land is Tomorrowland. It's just feels so techy and I love that! :goodvibes Every time we enter it big smiles spread across both my and Joe's faces, it just feels so magical to us! We love everything about it - the rides, the look, the music...even the geometric topiaries!

My least favorite is probably Liberty Square, sorry! :flower3: I do like it though, but I had to pick a least favorite.

Favorite MK....I guess I will go with Tomorrowland.....Toon Town would hands down be my least favorite....I was there once to say I was there ;) Although not technically a "land"...nothing beats the feeling of that first walk down Main Street :cloud9:

Sometimes all of this favorite/dislike picking is making me stressed :rotfl2: It's like going to a restaurant and seeing all of the things I like and I can't pick!!! :lmao:

Tracy

:cool1: Woo hoo for 15 days!

My favorite land is definitely Fantasyland. To me the true magic of Disney lives there! :goodvibes

I don't really have a least favorite! My kiddos love The Barnstormer and the playground in toontown, not to mention Mickey and Minnie's houses! So, I can't pick that. I love the rest of the park so much there is no way I can pick one!

Changes again??????? Your poor travel agent. :rotfl:

I think your decision to get an AP is an excellent one! They really are cost effective when you use them for 2 or 3 trips. It makes much more sense and I am frankly surprised that more people don't get them.

Plus its cool to know you can take off and go anytime you want. It really gives you a sense of the magic.

So favorite land - I'm gonna go with Tomorrowland. It just reminds me of my first few trips to Disney when it was absolutely essential that my first park day was always spent in MK and my first ride was always Space Mountain.

Least Favorite - Probably adventureland. Not sure why, but I always feel out of sorts there. I feel like it should be bigger or there should be some other great ride hiding back there.

I like your changes! And costumes :thumbsup2 I will have to catch up on the rest of the like/dislike things though :rotfl:

15 days!! :yay:

I agree with Tracy, although not technically a land, my very favorite would have to be Main St. Followed closely by Adventureland.

Least favorite definitely Toon Town. I've been through once but that was it. I did just hear that it's still open and likely to remain so through the end of the year (I thought it had already closed) so I may go tour some of it just to say I have.

Mndisneygirl - yes have to be an AP holder and/or FL resident to purchase TIW and does give discount on all including alchohol! :woohoo:

WOOT WOOT for 15days!! I can't believe tomorrow you can say in two weeks!! How Exciting!!!

My favorite land has to be Liberty Square...it holds my beloved Haunted Mansion!
