Relaxation, Disney Style, PTR. ~*TRIP REPORT HAS STARTED! 9/18 Pg. 155*~

I saw your "7 more Mondays" and just about had a minor panic attack! :scared1: That means I have WAY less to finish packing up my house and sell everything, and finalize/fine tune my park plans!!! OMGosh, we're so close, Leslie!!!:banana::banana:

I can't think of one more thing that would perfect your birthday, except a Happy birthday kiss at the castle!

We really are super close!! One of my goals for the weekend is to dig out my suitcase and to see what I need for travel sized items. I really don't think I need too much but I want an excuse to go shopping. ;)

Yes, a Happy Birthday kiss at the Castle would be very nice. :lovestruc

That looks like a WONDERFUL first day! Kona has my favorite food on property!

Although shortening a trip stinks, I know it work out for the best. Just think of the fun things you can pick up with the extra $$!

This sounds like a very, very nice birthday!

I really liked the part about the slushie Coke and cream cheese pretzel dinner. ::yes::

POR's lobby is GORGEOUS!

That is the quiet pool from my very first Disney stay! Ahhhhhhhhh! It brings back such great memories!

Just wanted you to know I'm here but I'm a little OCD. I'm reading from the begining and I'm only on page 7 now. I'll post more once I'm up to speed. :thumbsup2

But so far I'm loving it!

:cloud9: What an awesome first day. Riverside, Magic Kingdom, cream cheese pretzel dinner.... all on your birthday. Perfect! :thumbsup2

What a great way to start a trip and celebrate a birthday!!!

I love your plans!!!! Start off in Magic Kingdom, enjoy a cream cheese pretzel (So yummy) and have some pool time at Riverside...sounds amazing!

Hope you have a great weekend!

YAY for NO MORE CHANGES! I can't keep up! I get excited about your other plans and then have to un-get-excited and then re-excited again for your new plans :rotfl: But yes, I'm excited again!! Love the coke slushie and cream cheese pretzel for dinner....;)

You make the rules. And you can change them too! ;)
Either way - looks like a good idea to change to a 7 day trip (which I would love to have someday! We keep doing this 4 and 5 day deals!)

I like your first day - celebrate your birthday how you want!! And stop worrying about blisters! You'll be fine. You are prepared!

I leave in 12 (almost 11!) days and I have to figure out my packing/travel size stuff yet! You are way ahead of me! I'm getting there, but I keep getting sidetracked by a certain 7 year old who keeps telling me none of her shorts fit right!!! Grrr.

Sounds like an awesome birthday! At frist I was a little baffled by the pretzle and slushie for dinner, but then again, pork tacos sound pretty filling, so that could be a good dinner after all.

Oh, LL -- one of my favorite moments on this last trip, was touring the MK in the am with a cream cheese pretzel and orange juice slushie from the stand in Adventure land! It was a repeated moment... :lmao:

I love your first day itinerary, very go with the flow. And I can't believe you are now within a month and a 1/2 from your trip! it will be here before you know it!!!! :wizard:

looks like a fabulous first day!!!! Where do you get a cream cheese pretzel!? I've heard of them but I'm not sure where to get them! I may need to try it!

It's your party and change, or don't, if you want to!

Yep, you make the rules!

Oh that Riverside lobby looks SOOOOO prettty!

Happydog has had amazing luck with walking up at LeCellier so...never say never.

It sounds like a perfect birthday!

This made me laugh out loud!!! :lmao::rotfl::rotfl2:

I love your arrival day!!! Kona, Magic Kingdom, and swimming at Riverside!!! :cloud9:
I have to admit, I'm a little in love with our arrival day too. I think it's a perfect way to start out the trip and of course to celebrate my Birthday!!

I adore Kona. The food we ate there in 2008 was just delicious, I think we loved every single thing we ate.

I'm very much looking forward to being able to spend some money on souvies now. We didn't have a huge budget for them with the 9 nights but now...well....a shopping we will go! ;)

I'm very much looking forward to the cream cheese pretzel. If I don't want that for dinner then I'll be getting corn dog nuggets for sure. Our park days have changed a little bit so I have to PM you about when we are going to try to meet.

That is the quiet pool from my very first Disney stay! Ahhhhhhhhh! It brings back such great memories!
I can not WAIT to be swimming at Riverside. Can't wait, Can't wait.

Just wanted you to know I'm here but I'm a little OCD. I'm reading from the begining and I'm only on page 7 now. I'll post more once I'm up to speed. :thumbsup2

Welcome!! I have to read from the beginning too. I have to know what is going on!!

:cloud9: What an awesome first day. Riverside, Magic Kingdom, cream cheese pretzel dinner.... all on your birthday. Perfect! :thumbsup2
It does! I'm very excited. Now if I could just decide what outfit I want to wear for my birthday. :rotfl2:

:rotfl2: Sounds like I'm keeping you very busy with all my itinerary changes! I'm not changing anymore....I'm tired of re-working the itinerary. This one is sticking...at least until we get down there. Then all bets are off.

You make the rules. And you can change them too! ;)

I hope I am prepared. I'm just worrying about wearing the Teva Mushies. But I will be bringing my Asics so if they don't work then I will switch. I

We don't eat a whole lot at meals. I'm thinking we will be good and stuffed from Kona but who knows. In January, I don't think Jen and I even finished a pretzel between the two of us. Honestly, the pretzel might not be a good idea with my band now, I have a lot more restriction than in January but I will be trying!! :rotfl2:

Looks like a great first day to me! :thumbsup2
I think so too. :thumbsup2

I love the plans for your first day! It's got a good mix of great food, relaxation, and of course...MK! :thumbsup2
I just have to go to MK on my birthday. It seems like a rule. Marc was trying to convince me to go to DHS but I can't do it. I want to be in MK on my birthday.

Oh, LL -- one of my favorite moments on this last trip, was touring the MK in the am with a cream cheese pretzel and orange juice slushie from the stand in Adventure land! It was a repeated moment... :lmao:

Yum! Sounds like a breakfast of champions!!

They are the Launching Pad under the Astro Orbiter. The cream cheese pretzel is the best Disney snack EVER.

It's your party and change, or don't, if you want to!

Yep, you make the rules!

I like making the rules, if only the whole world lived by my rules. :rotfl2:

I think we are going to try for a walk up Le Cellier but when I was on the phone with one of the CM's trying for an ADR, she told me to just ask for some Chocolate Moose to go, so I'm thinking I might try that.

I love your first day itinerary! :thumbsup2
Thanks!
