Could you use the points at the Grand Californian DVC when it opens?

We could however we can't book until 7 months out as it's not our home resort and from what I am reading it's been tough getting a reservation.

Here is some for you. I hope you don't have to use your points in Utah, that just seems wrong! Did you bring your puppy home yet?

We brought the puppy home. The puppy cried all night long. Like all night long. He misses his mommy. He is a good pup though, very sweet, appears smart, and cute as hell!

It can get hot here, I've been in my shorts for several months now and we have gorgeous beaches too, just saying oh and lots of old stuff that you Americans like

I had NO idea it got beach weather warm there! And what "old stuff" do we Americans like?

speaking of that, i have to share this story. sorry if it's TMI but we're all grownups here. at least i hope we are. i was at target a couple weeks ago and i got some "precautions" while i was there (not what you're thinking but the kind a female uses). anyway, i was also purchasing quite a few other things, including luke's birthday present. well, i had his birthday stuff at the very end of the checkout thingie and i told the girl that i needed a gift receipt on all the stuff at the end. the box of "precautions" was nowhere near that stuff but somehow she picked it up and she looked at me and said, "you need a gift receipt for this, right?" UM.....YEAH.....I'M GIVING THAT TO SOMEONE AS A GIFT, GENIUS!!!!!

So out of the 7 weeks we chose to go to Mexico using our DVC points for an RCI reservation not one single week was open for a Studio or 1 bedroom The CM explained that an RCI member who owns at the resort we want has to "give up" their week. I am not sure what "give up" means. The CM said if we get our request it will show up on the member site. I am starting to think I may have to use my now banked points that have to be used by Nov 30, 2010 in St. George, Utah! I am also wondering how to convince DH that we need to try out the THV next October if this Mexico thing doesn't pan out?

It does, honest, my girls normally spend several weeks every summer in my Dad's outdoor unheated pool and we have to be careful not to get sunburnt

Being back at work after spending 4 days in Disneyland sucks.

Jenny, the new IASW is SOOOOOOO good! It was fabulous sitting in the good Tiki room again. The bayou in Pirates was, of course, fantastic! And I love, love, love NOS. It's funny though, after all the time I have spent in WDW these last couple of years, the Florida park is the one that feels most like home to me. Oh yeah, and I think I managed to eat everything on my DL must eat list!

Glad you are back but I cannot say the same for Keith. He was blue after he dropped you off yesterday. Awww.................it was kinda cute though! I like to see him suffer a little. Any pictures to share? <---------- Me begging! And to be honest, having not been to Disneyland since 2005, WDW feels more like home for now anyway. I would really really like to get back to the mother land!
