Rehab of rides at certain times?

I was planning a trip to WDW in May 2005 but I was reading about the rehabs going on this year in May and was thinking it might be better to go at a higher volume time, like July 2005 for example. Is this a good way to think about the rehabs or no? Thanks to any replys!

There are generally less rehabs during the busy summer months. That is when I always go (either June or July). They usually have all of the rides open that are now seasonal too, which is also a benefit going in the summer. The downside is it is a lot hotter and crowded in the summer and if you are bothered by the heat, you might want to go at a cooler time of the year. I am not bothered by the heat (I actually like it!) and always have a great time in June and July. We love the water parks, but I want the water to be at least 88 degrees or warmer when I swim, so the summer is the best time for me. :earsgirl:

I've gone in early May the past 4 years and don't recall any major rehabs happening during this time. This is a great time to go, the weather is starting to get hot but not real humid yet. Crowds are on the low side. Flower & Garden Show at Epcot.
