Rehab at GF??

I read in another thread that there are changes being made to GF right now. I thought they hadn't started yet and that Sugar Loaf was the first one to close down in Sept/Oct. Are any of the other rooms done yet? If so, which ones?

Hi, Conch seems to be done. The latest plan I heard was they are closing SL in Sept. Right now they are working on the main building concierge areas.

I heard they plan for the whole thing to be completed around December.

Are they doing it building by bulding and closing them down one at a time, or are they doing a bit at a time and only closing a few rooms at a time?

From what I read it is being done one floor at a time in the certain lodge building they're working on & they're not shutting the building down....guests are still in the buildings being worked on.

My last info was that the 5th floor of Royal Palm Club was being worked on & they were going down from there. That was about a week and a half ago.

We were in Sugar Loaf in mid May and one CM had been told floor by floor as Lives noted except for Sugar Loaf which was going to be completely closed for a time.

I saw a CM removing benches from Sago Cay. He made two trips while I was on our balcony. But I don;t think anyone has reported on new rooms in Sago and while we were there I did see guests on balconies on every floor so don;t know what was with the benches.
