Aw God Bless Bonnie dear Bobbi and thank you and Tom for giving her a loving home.

Dear Lynn and everyone, I would love to go home. I do have the blessing of being able to truly get much closer to normal here for a few more months if I get the crucial daily care I need. Going home right now is not in my best recovery interest. I will have an answer by the end of Monday and go forward from there.

Definitely not an easy decision but a vital one for sure. I need to have a definite yes or no answer on Monday first. I pray it is yes. I want more than anything to be back to normal honestly as much as if not more for my beloved Dad's sake than my own. To truly be able to bring added joy to his life and ease his daily responsibilities. As not ideal as this environment can be, that can be secondary (as long as I get a new roommate) to the miracle of daily being graced with the exact consistent therapy I need that I could not get at home that will allow me to reclaim my normal life or be a ton closer to it come January.

I do have people working on my roommate issue so God willing, the answer is yes, that would be resolved too. If I have to go home, so be it. I absolutely promise all of you to not stay here one second longer than absolutely necessary if what would be detrimental to my recovery happens and the answer Monday is no. God has this and me just perfectly. I am so blessed including to get to love and pray for and to be loved and prayed for by all of you. Hugs extra my dear Quacker family.

Good morning. Another warm day ahead. I wish for cooler temps for October. Yesterday I went to Jeff's for breakfast. Sam had croup during the night and was at the doctor. This is a regular thing for him once the cold season starts. Now that he is in preschool he is exposed to more things. He got a steroid shot and came home ready to play and have fun. I went to Ethan's soccer game. He did play well and really tried. This morning was the gym and soon the lake. I really need to be out in nature seeing and hearing the birds and squirrels. Hopefully no snakes!

Have a good day.

Had a busy weekend - Lodge installation and dinner on Saturday, Fish Fry Sunday for lunch, and then after that I went over to my in-laws to see our great-nephew (and his parents, of course  ) who had come down for the day. He is 4 months old and absolutely adorable!

Good morning! It should be another nice day here. I have chiropractor and an MRI today. I went for bloodwork yesterday, and the appointment with my oncologist is on Thursday.

Our call taking for St Vincent se Paul ended Saturday, but we have another home visit scheduled for this afternoon. This family is out of out territory, but we made the appointment before we realized that. Our meeting is Wednesday and for sure I will ask for a map of our boundaries!

My cousin, Konnor had appendectomy yesterday. We are grateful that it didn’t burst. I am not sure when he will be released.

Prayers for Konnor dear Bobbi! I once had the blessing of knowing a Connor, one of three brothers at church through camps.

Stay warm and well everyone and have a great day. I am sure counting on and praying today will bless me forever with my getting my needed best recovery miracle going forward.

Hugs to all. I will check back in later.

Going to be a nice day here. Yesterday I was under the weather a little tiny bit so I took it easy all day. I had worked chopping up my crape myrtles on Saturday and did too much.

Long time neighbor is in hospice care. I saw her briefly on Saturday but this makes me sad, although she's had a long and wonderful life. She's almost 87, and sometimes I feel selfish wishing her to be around longer. It looks like she has decided herself to leave us. She will be going straight to heaven. Her family has gathered.

Meanwhile I'm still working on my vacations. DVC is doing Hoop De Do on December 9th. I'd like to go so I waitlisted a Boardwalk room for that night and booked a back up night at Drury.

Just to put this in perspective, since I own at BW, using BW points to book a 10 point room on Dec 9th costs me $90.57 in dues. Buy in costs paid 25 years ago are long sunk money so I never think about that as it amounts to so little. Meanwhile Drury costs more than double that amount.

I've never attended HDD. It's always been on my list but has never made the cut. I think this is the time. Probably will do the earlier show.
