Registering for Special Activities

How soon beforehand can you register for the special activities at the resort? I’d like to do the mosaic class. The last time I was at a resort waited until the morning of, and it sold out when I tried to register. I arrive on 6/29 and think the class would be on 6/30

The problem is there's no way for you to register before you arrive that I am aware of. They don't put mosaic classes in My Disney Experience. You can only sign up for them in person at the resort.
