The Regal Palms Resort is outside Kissimmee on Rt 27 south. It was fantastic! :Pinkbounc
We stayed in a 3 bedroom 3 bath townhome and it was perfectly clean, quiet and fabulous! We LOVED :lovestruc the pool, waterslide ( my 5 year old 45" daughter said this was her favorite part) and the lazy river was so much fun! :teeth:
We had no problems at all with the staff they we very professional and helpful. There was trash pickup each day, we collected the trash and left it outside by the front door each morning and they took it away and left a new trash bag!
We had lunch twice at the clubhouse bar and grill, trying out the turkey wrap, blue cheese hamburger, turkey club, fish and chips, hot dog, and the nachos. All were good, not overly fantastic but good decent food, prices were reasonable, although my husband, while waiting for the food to be prepared so that he could bring it back to the townhome, had pint draft of Bass Ale that cost $10! No kidding! Very funny! :rotfl2:
It took us probably 15-20 min depending on traffic to get to Disney...but the relaxed feeling of the resort along with all the fresh Florida fruit that we ate every morning was well worth the time it took us to get there every day! ( Can you tell I already miss vacation!) :guilty:
With all that said we also got an amazing deal on our price per night, so I am highly recommending this place to all my friends! Wonderful! A+++ :cool1:

do any of the rentals have a jacuzzi in the master bath or hot tub on the deck?

also did you go to a waterpark? i wonder if time at the hotel would be just as nice for my 5 and 8 year old. i know my teens might like the waterpark but then again they might go for extra days at universal. i can get a week for 100 at universal through rci not that they will stay a week but was going to let them go for 2 days.

As far as I know the townhomes do not have jacuzzi's or hot tubs in the home, the one we stayed in did not. There is a hot tub in the pool complex though, it is very nice!

The pool complex at the Regal Palms, in my opinion, would be GREAT for your 5 and 8 yr old. My 5 yr old LOVED it and probably would rather do that all day! As for the teens in your group, hmmmm, we did see a group of teens having a great time on the waterslide and racing the Lazy River together....

I just stayed at Regal Palms last week and the unit we rented did have a jacuzzi in the master bath!

can you tell me which unit. how did you rent it or who through? how many bedrooms?

The unit we rented had four bedrooms and three full baths. I found the owner through VRBO and he was great to work with. He did everything possible to make me feel comfortable with the transaction. Here's a link to his listing: http://www.vrbo.com/54408

You're welcome! ;)
I hope the information is helpful for others too! The owner we went through was GREAT!!! :goodvibes
