Regal palms

I am devilishly close to booking 2 weeks here but could do with a little information please.

I am a single parent so have to sit at the bar while my daughter plays in the pools.

We do not want to spend all night in the apartment together so can anyone tell me what time the bar and pools shut please.

My alternative is Bahama Bay, we stayed here last time and the bar and pool closed late and it suited us down to the ground.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I stayed at Regal Palms over Christmas and I've stayed at Bahama Bay. I prefer Bahama Bay. It is a lot cleaner and closer to Disney. The best I can say about Regal Palms is its cheap. I would not feel safe staying there alone with just a child.

We stayed here three years ago. At that time the pool closed at 8 pm.

I haven't stayed there, but when I was considering it, I kept coming across complaints about it not being clean.

We've stayed at Regal Palms several times over the years. The last time, however, we felt the same way as the previous posters. It's a pretty resort, but they advertise it as a gated community. That is a complete lie. There is a gate that is open to get in, but all around the resort there are no gates. There is a condo complex right behind it and we saw people walking over all the time to use the pool. Just didn't feel as safe to me or as clean as it had been in the past.

We stayed at Bahama Bay twice during our trip because it's closer to Disney. I can say that this was one of the nicest place.
