Refurbishment schedule or such?

Thinking about changing our trip from right before Christmas to January 4 week instead. I'm wondering if there would be ride closings at that time. Do they list a schedule like WDW? Or does anyone have past experience with those dates?

universal doesn't rehab like Disney does (except for the water rides) and the rehabs aren't announced till a couple weeks before.You can expect that one of the 3 water rides ( Dudley Do rights, Popeyes and Blutos bilge rat barges or Jurassic park river adventure) will be down .They usually go down in Jan after the holidays 1 at a time and are rehabbed for about 2 weeks each.No way to know which until we get closer

Thanks. I think of the water rides the only one we'd dare ride in cold weather would be Jurassic Park. It would not be a loss to miss any of them really. So you think that would be it for closures?

Usually only the water rides, there is always a possibility of something else.But like I mentioned, universal does not do lengthy rehabs ( they maintain rides/shows after park hours)like wdw does.
