Refurbishment Discrepancy

I've been checking refurbishment schedules for our trip in January and need some advice. A couple of websites (doctordisney, allears) have Splash Mountain and Space Mountain both down for the same week. Disney and touringplans, to name two, just list Splash Mountain. Is it likely that Disney would have two mountains scheduled for refurb in the same week? Is any website historically more accurate than another? Thanks in advance for any help.

I don't see a Jan. 2016 Space Mtn. refurb on several of the trusted sites.
I'd put that at a less than 42.63% chance.

But, at WDW, you never know.

splash is always down in late winter to early spring for refurb. that you can be certain.

I've been trying to guess based on conflicting information too. Here's what I've compiled:

Dr. Disney - Splash down 1/10-1/14, Space down 1/11-1/15
Allears - same as Dr. Disney
The DIS - Splash 1/10-1/14, no info on Space

It is worth noting that the Allears site had different information than Dr. Disney and has since changed to match it. I am booking FPs tonight and will be interested to see what it lets me book. (I'm hoping that if there's a scheduled refurb Disney would not allow people to book FPs.)
