If you put half of your deposit and then decide that you need to pull out, can you get your money back?

If you cancel during the cancellation period, you will get all of your money back even if you paid in full.

The cancellation period is usually 10 days from the time you signed the contract(s).

If you didn't sign the contracts, then you can also get your money back. That happened with us. We gave a deposit to our guide. About a week later we got the contracts via FedEx. We then decided to buy resale. I told my guide and he was quite nice about arranging for the refund which was back on my credit card in a few days.
