I understand the frustation. This is what happened to me regarding my June 06 flights and why I'll never fly Delta again.
April 28th, Delta changed my flights home and had me arriving in Cincinnati an hour after my connection took off. Grrrr. The person on the other end had a hard time understanding what the problem was. Eventually got it figured out.
April 30th, went to check our seating arrangements on our flights and they CHANGED THE FLIGHTS AGAIN!!!! Grrrrrrrrrrrrr. This time, they give me a flight with a 15 minute layover in LaGuardia with a 10yo??? I dont think so!! The employee would only put me on hold while they looked for better flights. Had to hang up and call back I was SO angry. Talked to a manager and got a less than sincere apology and said there was nothing they could do because there was another flight available within 4 hours of my original flight.
No more changes or problems until June 24th. Flew from MCO to ATL to PWM. When we got off the plane, it took forever for the luggage to come out. Even then, you could see that MANY people did not have their luggage. I ended up waiting in line to report it for over an hour. Seems they had problems in Atlanta and some (A LOT) of luggage just didn't make it on the plane. OK... I can *sort of* accept that. HOWEVER, what idiot couldn't pull it in out of the rain??? When I finally got it 4 days later, it was absolutely soaked!!! Sorry, you have to report it within 12 hours of the flight? Excuse me??? It wasn't in my possesion within 12 hours of the flight.
And that, plus past bad customer service, repeated unsatisfactory delays, and other issues is why I won't fly Delta again!
