The reason H&R Block is sending things through in batches is because the flood of efiles sent on the day IRS began processing last year crashed IRS's system and several returns were delayed because of this. I'm not sure if this batch process was at the request of IRS or if it was H&R Block's idea, though.

Mine is being processed per the Where's My Refund site.

I finally filed ours today, waiting on that last form drives me nuts. I use turbotax every year because ours is somewhat complicated. It got accepted 25 minutes later. Looking forward to getting this years refund. It will pay off most of our trip plus pay for another

YAYYY! Filed Jan 22nd, got accepted on the 28th and I just went to IRS.GOV and checked the "Where's my refund" and it says I've been approved and it will be in my bank account by Feb 6th!! Looks like were going to WDW March 24-30th!!! Staying at Ft. Wilderness Cabins!!

I just tried the where's my refund site and it said its down I just wanted to check to see if mine has been approved. They accepted it as of Saturday, Accountant filed on Friday. I guess I have to wait till tomorrow to check

I am getting ready to do my taxes. We were one of the lucky ones (insert rolling eyes) that had the education expenses last year and ended up getting held up for weeks. For any of you that have already gotten a DD date, did any of you have education expenses?

I just sent our info. to our tax account yesterday so hopefully she will have them filed soon for us. I just hope to break even this year.

So much for W2's needing to be sent out by January 31st. My wife and others had to beg them last night for their W2's. They were just sitting on the HR manager's desk just like I said in another thread that they would be.

Not finishing up the taxes yet though. I don't get much, but half of it is earmarked for a new bicycle. If I get the check back before I'm able to buy a bike because it's 20° and there's 8 inches of snow, it will get spent on other stuff before then.

Getting our stuff together to take to the tax lady. Whatever refund, if any, we get this year will go towards the amount we had to pay out for the foreclosure we had several years ago. I sort of hope it's like we had previous years so that it should cover 90% of the balance. That will put an extra $400 a month back in my pocket which could go towards a character meal or two for our May trip.

I efiled via Turbo taz yesterday afternoon appox 1.5 hrs ltr. DH had text saying return was accepted and I had email saying same.

We had the education expenses and filed on the 31st. Our return was accepted right away. However, we have a window between the 3 and 21st for a deposit date.

The IRS is saying that most refunds will be direct deposited within 21 days. Did they give you a date or are you just going by the 21 day thing they're saying?

Mine has been accepted as of Sunday but I haven't gotten a refund date yet. Just says the standard within 21 days. Hoping to get a more definitive date soon

Just check on IRS site.
