Refund for less guests?

Hi everyone. For those of you who have already had your weddings...

our guest count has dropped from 50 to 42... will we get a refund for the people who we alreayd paid for. Wedding is in 13 days... thanks.

as long as there is no minimum for your venue you will get an refund...
Disney does have to know the final guest count (i believe its like 8 days before) to do a final bill

I think that when we were considering a WDW wedding, they needed the final guest count 48 hrs in advance. At DL, we received our refund check about 1 month after our event...

I think the guest count may be 72 hours now, but you should get a refund as long as you give the updated numbers to your planner

We just attended a DFTW earlier this month, and the bride had to turn in the final count 72 hours in advance. She was charged jsut for the # of people she gave them as the final head count. They sent her a letter last week with the final accounting and will be receiving a check soon for the difference between the amount they paid with the original estimate 30 days out vs the actual bill inclusive of the head count she gave at 72 hours out. Hope that made sense.
