Refund for an 8 day park hopper E-ticket

Hello! One of my travel companions was forced to cancel the trip as the company he works at revoked his overseas leave due to the ongoing coronavirus situation.
We had already bought 8 day park hopper E-tickets in advance for our Mid-May trip to WDW.

Is it possible to get a refund on his ticket and if so, what would the proper procedure be?

Sorry if this is an obvious question. It is our first time going to Disney world

You can call and ask, there's no harm in asking.

If they say no, is there any chance of you rescheduling the trip? You can always change the date of the tickets.
 
Officially there are no refunds. Exceptions have been made. Did you buy the ticket from Disney? I would call and ask, and if they say no, I'd call and ask again.

Worst case scenario the ticket expires. If that happens, Disney's policy currently is to give you 100% credit for what you paid for it towards another ticket purchase in the future (e.g if you paid $600 for it, it functions essentially as a $600 coupon off of a future ticket purchase).
 

I think you'll be okay; the coronavirus has literally shut down some things. They should understand.
