Refueling rental car before returning to airport

We just returned home Monday :guilty: after a wonderful trip! :flower: The only tip or suggestion I have is to refuel your rental vehicle at the Hess on Disney property and top it off a bit. I think it would certainly still register as full at the airport.

We used directions to a Circle K that's very close to the airport but that was its only plus. It ended up being 7 cents more a gallon than the Hess on Disney property. Also (and perhaps we just hit it at a bad time) service was extremely slow and it took forever to get out of there.

I always fill-up at the Hess by Boardwalk and have never been off full when I got to the airport. Never was questioned. It's pretty much all highway between WDW and the airport, it wouldn't even be a gallon.

We've rented the gamut of car sizes and have had "economy" models that will drop the needle below full by the time we get to the airport (we take 417). But I agree that the on-property Hess stations are very reasonably priced. They are usually comparable to the Racetrack and Mobile just outside of Celebration on 192, both of which are very competitive.
