We are going to be staying at Pop Century in December. I would like to keep simple breakfast foods in the room and was wondering how big the refrigerators in the room are. I am just wanting to know a rough estimate of how much space or how much stuff we can keep in it. Thanks for your help!

We stayed at Pop last fall. It's a mini fridge, like the ones college kids use in dorm rooms. A few shelves and room for a few cans of soda on the door. We thought it was ample enough and stored two 2-liter bottles of soda in it and some small bottles of water, fruit, and other assorted snacks.

One thing to note though, it seemed to be very cold and froze some of the items we put in there (no knob to adjust the coldness).

The temperature control is on the back side of the refrigerator. :)

FYI I couldn't put anything in the lower door when I had the gallon of milk in the main part of the fridge. (The small stores at each resort have 1/2 gallons, which do leave enough space to put things in the fridge door.) And, as PP mentioned, don't have high expectations on temperature - sometimes works great, but sometimes they frost up, sometimes not cold enough (even when you find the control on the back, after pulling it out of the wood cabinet).

We always go the route of a simple in room breakfast and had no issues with milk in the fridge. Just don't forget that, unlike the family suites with the kitchenettes, you will have to supply all of your own paper products, plastic cutlery, etc. The rooms do not have a coffee maker either, so bring your own or you will have to go to the food court to buy a cup. They sell boxes of donuts in the gift shop, the gift shops at some of the other resorts (AofA, Boardwalk) sold bags of bagels. Or better yet run out to Publix if you don't bring your own!

It's pretty small, but we fit a 1/2 gallon of milk, a 1/2 gallon of OJ, a quart of yogurt, a few small yogurts, a package of deli meat, and a couple bottles of water.

Our fridge at Pop last month didn't have quite that much room. most of the door space was taken up with a can dispenser of sorts and the inside top of the fridge came down lower so there wasn't much space on the top shelf. Not sure if it's a newer fridge or if they differ room to room.

We always have a fridge full. I bring yogurt, sliced cheese, lunch meat, mustard, string cheese, cut fruit, box oj, creme cheese ..... plenty for our breakfasts and some lunches. We are usually there at least a week.

Thank you for all of the replies. We were able to move up to staying at CSR with free dining for our stay. I assume the fridge at CSR is the same as the one at Pop. Best of all is that we don't have to take our own coffee maker now.

We brought a lot of food with us and kept the fridge full. It's a little dorm fridge.
We brought sodas, waters, juice, and lunch meat. I kept granola bars, cereal bars, and fruit for breakfast. We didn't eat even a fraction of what I brought
