I don't want to get this thread going however I am not the mug police and at one time was told that the mug I bought at All Stars was good for life then read about it was only good for length of stay. A CM could tell you it is good for ever so if you bring your mug and is told it is not good, I don't have the name of the cm that told me a year ago that I could use it again. And then what about if I bought the mug at all star sports and am going to stay at century pop, can I use that mug? Some people feel that it is very wrong (the mug police).

They dont have them. Only at Resorts and you Cant use them in the parks. Can only use them in the resort you purchased it in. If you wanna see a thread get really ugly, ask if you can use a All Star Mug purchased 4 yrss ago at for an up coming Contemporary trip.

Fear not the Mug Police. They vent here because they haven't got the gall to actually make their point to a person they think is In Violation, although they may just slither over to a CM and Tell On You!!! At which point, you tell the CM that another CM said it was allowed, the first CM will say, 'OK!' and you'll have your fill of the carbonated ambrosia, unmolested!

I am the Barney Fife of the Mug Police. Actually, I am the Karate Kid of the Mug Police. If I see someone refilling an old, faded mug from the Disney Inn, I just slap it out of their hand, then when they turn around, I assume the Karate Kid pose. works every time.

I love refillable mug posts! can someone please ask if they can use them on subsequent trips, and then someone say no, then someone say yes, then someone say that a cm told them that they could use them forever, then someone chastise everyone for being dishonest, then someone say people should just mind their own business, then a moderator says to clean it up, then someone gets mad, then the post gets closed... like I said, i love refillable mug posts!

I know last trip while re filling our mugs from a previous trip we were debating our plan of action to get our 4 year old in for free...We also did not move to the end of the row during ITTBAB, and we had 6 people in our all star room....sorry couldnt resist....

Keeping this light..as I sit here and drink out of my mug at POP...last night a man filled two children's cups from Olive Garden in front of me with hot chocolate, and then picked them up and said..woweee those are hot. You would think they would insulate them. LOLOLOL.

As usual, all manners of cups and thermos' and baby bottles (no bread bag so far this trip..and we are keeping the camera at the ready for those non believers!) are being filled. Plenty of CM's at the soda counter, and it's so obvious, they can't miss it.

Ha. I did all that too, but I also breastfed while I held a place in line at SM for the other thirteen members of my party who were off poolhopping...

I will say this about this thread.....it has been very funny and light hearted....Its good that way though....Its nice to see even if we all dont agree we can make light of a situation....I have seen the odd things getting filled up at the fountains with CMs around....I think that its just not that big an issue so they just look the other way....Who knows....We didnt buy the mugs this last trip because we didnt eat that much at the food court but we did have our mugs with us from a previous trip from the same resort and used them one time the day we headed home.....I told a CM what was going on while they were cleaning the area and she said the coffee is ready now if you want some of that....LOL.....What does that mean who knows

That's it!!!! I think we've found a way to 'curtail' this unseemly practice!! We can sit there, lying in wait for the unsuspecting offender. When they step up to the soda/pop dispenser with a 7-11 mug or a Big Gulp from wherever, we take a picture. If they ask why, we tell them we are trying to track how many people are using non-Disney approved 'cups' at the soda stations!!! I love it. Maybe we can get a list of who's going when and they can sign up for a particular time slot to 'watch'. You know...kind of like the DVC Christmas tree sign-ups. That would most certainly get people's attention!

Okay, now you all do understand I'm kidding, right??? Right??
