Refillable Mugs?

I haven't gotten the refillable mugs from the resorts before but am thinking that maybe this time it might be a good idea since my DH loves Coke, but I don't know if we'll be at the resort enough to justify the cost.

What are your thoughts on this?

Thanks!

Well if your husband loves to drink a lot of Coke maybe he should get a mug for himself, if he is willing to always go to your resort counter service location to refill his mug.

I buy one every time. I like my collection-just wish there were more of them.

I think they are worth it. Even on my earlier trips with only 5 days at WDW, I still filled the mug a min of 2X per day.

Figure about $3 to purchase a Coke. If you fill it once in the morning and one at night that's a minimum of $6 times how many days your staying. Definately worth it.

:wizard: We buy them everytime we go. We use them for coffee in the morning, cold drinks during the day and sometimes coffee when we get back from the parks at night. I think they pay for themselves many times over and you have a cool mug to take home!

I bought mugs the first few years that I went to WDW, then realized that I had to walk forever just to get a drink, then by the time I walked back to my room, it was gone, and if I wanted more, another long walk!

Easier just to get some drinks and have them in the fridge in the room!

Especially if you are staying somewhere like CBR, its quite a haul just to go get a drink.

ours came with the dining plan, but we got a lot of use just going for coffee in the AM and getting refills by the pool.

We are on the dining plan in August and I was planning on purchasing 2 mugs. One for soda and one for more "kid-friendly" beverage, like lemonade. I know my dh will want a cold drink at the end of the day and I like to start my day with some caffeine so these will be perfect for us. Plus, it's another souvenir.

We normally just buy two and share them. There is normally cups in the room, so we split between the two kids and that is normally ok and if not i don't mind walking back for a refil.

Since we always stay for at least a week, and we're at ASMusic (no coffeemaker) it's worth it for DH and me, just for coffee and tea/iced tea. We're not pop drinkers. For DD, it's probably not worth it for the few pink lemonades and hot chocolates that she gets, but we buy her one because she wants her own (and we get a lot of use out of them after we get home)

We use them for coffee in the morning, and perhaps a drink later in the day. Then my wife uses them for work, so they're worth it to us.
