Refillable Mugs

I probably should know this....but what's the deal with the refillable mugs? I'm assuming (of course) that they can be refilled, but are they found in your hotel room when you check in? can you refill them anywhere in WDW? what can you fill them with and do you have to return them or do you keep them? Also, are they an additional cost? I searched 'refillable mugs" and only got partial info.

Mugs cost $11.99 and can be refilled as many times at the resort of purchase and they are good for the length of your stay at that resort. You have to purchase them at the food court and they are yours to keep. You can refill them with soda, tea, coffee and iced tea.

They used to be themed according to each resort. However, this year it seems that all/most (someone help me here) have 2007 Year of a Million Dreams logo on it. We saw some when we went in March/April. We wanted one from OKW because we had never stayed there before, but we hadrly ever went to the main bldg. so it wasn't worth the $ for us. I like the idea of collecting them from the different resorts. We have 4 different ones so far. We'll probably get the YoaMD ones when we go next month. We think they are worth it. I always get coffee in mine for b-fast and DH and I usually refill on soda a couple times at night.

thanks for your help. I read somewhere that you can't fill them up multiple times a day...just once a day a ceratin places. for example i'm staying at Coronado springs--can i just fill it up at the pepper market or also all over WDWW (other resorts, parks, etc)?

We stayed at CSR and refilled ours multiple times everyday there. Pepper Market was where we filled up most, but also at pool side bar, that was convenient for us during our evening swim. We filled up in the mornings with coffee, again before we left for the parks and again at night when we came in. I had read on Dis somewhere that with the new mugs you could fill at other resorts but not sure about that.

The mugs you purchase are good for as many fill ups as you like each and every day of you stay and are only to be filled at your resport you are staying at. Hope this helps.

At CSR, you can fill them up as many times as you like during your stay. You can fill them at Siestas, Francisco's, Laguna Lounge, Maya Grill (if you dining there), and the Pepper Market. For example, CSR also has a 64oz mug that sells for $19.95 that works the same way. Coffee, tea, soda and iced tea are the choices.
