Am I correct that the free DDP (1 snack, 1 QS, 1 TS) does NOT come with a free refillable mug? I don't understand why the basic DDP (2 QS, 2 snacks) does... Booooooooo!

No, I'm pretty sure you don't get the mug with the regular dining plan. Honestly I find it absurd that you get one with every other plan except that one. Plus you get one less snack then the other dining plans.
BTW, the quick service plan is the "free" dining plan if you stay at a value resort.
Thanks for your reply... what a bummer. It is so odd that it comes with every other plan. Ah well, I would have wound up lugging them around all day anyway so that's some minor consolation.
Correct, you don't get them with the regular DDP. Both other plans get them for free.
What we do is still buy them as we have found they do save us money. But we don't carry them to the parks (as you can't use them there, only at your resort), so DH runs them back to the room after the meal in the food court and off we go. No carrying them around with us.
The above is correct - no mug included with regular (1 TS, 1 CS, 1 snack per night - actually this plan is usually referred to as "basic" DDP, and the 2 CS, 2 snack plan is the Quick Service plan) DDP. It has never been included with this form of DDP, even before 2008 when it was the only form of DDP offered.
Regular DDP is by far the most popular plan, Disney apparently did not see the need to change its allotments to include a mug.
