Refillable Mugs @ HH? And more???'s

Are the refillable mugs available at HH? Also, does anyone know about fishing at HH? Can you buy bait there? Any pictures???Would love more info for upcoming 1rst trip!

Not sure about the fishing, but there are refillable mugs at HH. You can get them refilled at Beach House and Tide Me Over. If Tide Me Over is closed, then you can get the refilled inside the Mercantile (just ask the CM). It was nice last summer to just take the mugs back up to the beach house from the beach and get a refill.

Maybe we see you down there, it looks like we'll be there at the same time.

We have gone crabbing at HH and we were able to buy bait at the Recreation Window. I would guess they have bait for fishing as well.

Last year I believe mugs were $9.95. Each year we debate getting them, but at the end of the week it seems like the best use of the money. So easy to send the kids to get their own drinks without dealing with $$.

Fishing options are abundant. Right off the pier near the pool is quite popular and you can get the bait and crabbing nets on site. When at HHI you are in the midst of a major commercial summer attraction, shopping is plentiful. WalMart is 5 minutes by car, as is a mall, supermarket, etc. You will have no trouble buying anything you need with a short drive.

Commercial fishing trips are easy to book as well. DVC will handle a number of options. You can also cross the street and go to the dock at Shelter Cove and book your own. It is basically the same price, but you may get an extra choice or two.

Daily! Gosh no! It is length of stay! So fillup and slurp to your heart's content!

We were there last month and the mugs were $8.95, I had always also thought they were $9.95.
