Refillable Mugs and Trading Cards?

Our last cruise was 6/01 on the 7-Day Magic, and at the time, I think the Refillable Mugs were $35. Can anyone who has cruised lately tell me if this price has gone up? Also, my younger brother really enjoyed collecting the trading cards that depicted various locations and activities on the ship--is this still going on? Have they released any new ones? Rare ones to look out for? Any answers will be greatly appreciated.

You should see lots of new trading cards as much has changed on the ships since 2001.

I was on the cruise in 2000 and we collected the trading cards. From what I remember you had to ask them for the cards. There were some "secret" places you could get cards from but ONLY if you knew to ask. DO you know where these places are?

Don't mind me I know they were out there dont know how to get them...

Check your navigator. There will be a little picture of cards next to the events that they are available at. In my experience they only give them freely to children, but they will give tham to adults if you ask nicely! My dad was talking to the Capt at the castaway club reception and the next day there was a complete set in our stateroom. He was one happy man!

The trading cards have been discontinued, DCL is still handing them out but only until the current supplies are deleted. The navigators on our last few cruises only have the trading card LOGO by the shows.

Michael received an autographed card from Captain John during our last cruise. We were just talking with him and Michael commented that he thought the Captain was doing a great job of steering the ship and thanked him!

Now that's a card with a memory to treasure!
