Refillable Mug to be included in 2012!!!

On another Disney forum there has been a post by an advertiser to say that the DDP in 2012 is to include the mug. They say more Disney deals to follow

I'm curious to know where they got their information. Disney does not release details of the following year's dining plans until August. It is possible that there was a mis print in a travel brochure. That happened in the UK last year and generated some heavy discussions and long threads, only to amount to nil.

The question is, how much more can they possibly raise the prices and still expect people to pay for it?! For 2010 the price went up and they added the seasonal surcharge. The price went up again this year. I don't want to think about what it will cost next year if they start adding things in

Unless it is an official announcement from Disney, I wouldn't count on this. You won't see the 2012 dining plan details until August 2011, so no idea where this is coming from. Of course, Great Britain sometimes sees the details before anyone else, because they can book before anyone else.

Also, since this included mug offer seems to be for UK guests, it could be a UK only item. UK guest do get different and sometimes better packages and discounts then U.S. guests. They can purchase 14 to 21 day tickets for one, and one year they were able to book free dining + room discounts together.

Is the refillable mug something new?? I thought that you already got a refillable mug. Is this one larger? Do you still only get to fill it at the resort you are staying?

You can either purchase one on your own or get it with the DxDp.

If you have just the DDP, it is not included. The PPs are talking about the basic dining plan.

I would love to see it included. However I dont think they could raise the price that much. I mean don't most guests stay around 7 nights so it they raised the price $2 that would cover the $14 for the cup.

We are probably going in Jan so I am very interested in these changes.

Then again, last year's UK and travel agent rumors(*) also said that they were dropping dessert and DxDP wasn't going to have appetizers anymore.

I won't believe anything until I see it from Disney directly.

(*) Granted, there was a discrepancy between the info the TAs and general public got, with the public info being correct.

You get a mug with the QS DDP and the Delux DDP, but not the basic DDP (1TS, 1CS, 1S).
