I would rather just have 1 mug for the entire stay if that was possible.

Actually from what I have read on various mugs threads, no one seems to care if you use the same mug when doing a split stay because your still on vacation at WDW. Besides since they are the same design no one could tell which Resort you 1st got them at.

Wow i have a collection and cant seem to throw them out. My kids use them in the summer with their friends. Works for me since they chat about "oh remember staying at....."

I definitely prefer the new smaller size with the smaller base to fit into car cup holders : )

Off Topic- But don't you find that the lid gets really hard to put on the cup after you put it in the dishwasher?

We bought the refillable mugs years ago and was told then that we could reuse from year to year. Well, we did it for a few times. We no longer do it. I just feel "funny" when people stare at our old mugs even though we were told we could in fact use them.

The CSR mug has not changed so we are not required to buy new mugs there for each visit. If it was required, we would not buy them. Drinks are already included in the dining plan and we wouldn't use the mugs enough to pay them off.

We are debating whether to use them next trip...the ones we have are from last year and are light blue for the YOMD...are they the same this year...my DH wants to take them with us and if we can use them we will and if not we will just buy new ones...

We bought the mugs at each of the resorts we stayed at. But when we go back to a resort, we use our old mugs. We just returned from the BC and we used our old, fat (non-cup-holder style) mugs. My daughters used them to get sodas at Hurricane Hannahs, where you have to give the mug to a CM to refill, and my older daughter remarked that no one said anything about refilling our old mugs.

If they had a resort-specific cup-holder type mug I would have bought 2, because I do like to use them at home to remind me of WDW.

We have bought mugs every time the design changes or if we are staying at a different resort. We have ASSp and CBR along with YOMD mugs. I will take YOMD mugs when we go this year. If they have resort mugs for CSR, I will purchase 1 but use the others as well for the 4 of us. I get up every morning and my walk includes a stop at the food court for coffee for my husband and soda for the rest of us. I bring these back to the room and then go down later for breakfast.

For our first two trips we bought them. This next trip I have decided not to. We are going to rent a car and just hit a grocery store on the way in for canned cokes. We only used them around the resort and for the price I can get a ton of cokes and drink them whenever I want instead of having to go to the resort to refill them. Just our thought. We have never reused ours on vacation though even though they do get lots of use at home. I just love my CBR one from our honeymoon. I use it every day at home. I don't like my YOAMD ones nearly as much

We’ve always purchased them each trip. I’m addicted to coffee and bad coffee is better than no coffee—I could take it intravenously. Saves us money while we are there. We also stay at a different resort each year. Makes a great souvenir. Last year we got the million dreams mugs with 2007 on them. I think this year I’m going to be mighty disappointed with the same mug, just no 2007.

Well, we buy them for each trip, but I have cheated once. We stayed 7 nights at Contemporary and 2 nights at Sports. I used my CR mug at Sports. I don't think I could bring mugs year after year, cause I felt horrible using them in one stay at different resorts.

That being said though, I don't think twice seeing others using old mugs. To each their own.

We stay at the boardwalk and have to get a mug every trip! It is a must, and also easy! We can get coffee, or soda, though I have given it up, but also hot chocolate at night, this trip I have a feeling we will not be needing it this trip, but its there if we feel like it.

We bought mugs 2 years in a row , the third year we decided we werent in the hotel enough to use a mug. So we didn't buy one. We were on the dining plan so we got all our meal drinks for free.

We consider them a piece of "home" when at home. We keep them in the cabinet and use them almost daily, just feels good to drink out of the mugs.

We've decided to take our mugs from last year and try and use them again and if we can't no biggy we will just buy new ones...I use mine everyday at work and everytime I take a drink from it it reminds me of where I long to be...
