No, they are at all resorts.

As of today at CBR you have a choice as they have both handled and handleless mugs. I have no idea if it will stay that way or not.

I hope they give you the choice however it will probably be only until they run out of the mugs with handles. I honestly don't think they thought it out very well. It's easier to carry the mug with a handle if you are carrying other things or if you are carrying the mugs for multiple people.

I just read as of today all mugs will not have handles, remaining handled mugs to be gone by the end of the week. Its easier to carry them with handles obviously so I am just curious why Disney was doing away with handles?

Where did you read that? Thanks!

Oh super bummed! I was getting a little excited with the last few posts and people finding both with and without handles. We arrive in just over two weeks.....guess no handles for us. Looking around take out restaurants here for those cardboard carriers. We have three kids who will be getting mugs and I already plan to have DH go down and get everyone drinks!

The blog I read said it would go out to all depending on guest feed back. If it's going to all I'm kinda sad and a lot mad. We go in October: 2 adults 4 kids. I am that mom who will sneak out and fill everyone's mugs and get back to the room to wake everyone for breakfast. There is no way I can carry 6 mugs without handles. At least I have 2 months to get creative.

Don't worry, you'll be able to buy a Magical Mug Caddy for just $12.99 plus tax. It's customizable too so you can add Disney characters and accents for a small fee. Pick whatever color you like (purple will be $4.99 extra). Our research shows our guests asked for this change. It's all good, you're at Disney!

I agree! Our fourth is still under three so we will only have five mugs, but that is what DH does, goes and get the drinks and brings them back. I have about two weeks for creativity! Wondering if chik-fil-a has a cardboard carrier, we are planning on lunch tomorrow there anyway!

I am going to see if the DH can make a carrier like the old time milk carriers. Then I can go crazy decorating it.

That's exactly why I bought a sturdy fabric carrier a few years ago that holds 4-6 mugs. We often send one person to fill all of the mugs. Our carrier folds flat and lives in our "Disney Box" in between trips. I really don't want a mug with no handle but I also don't want to pay $5+ for some snap-on handle that Disney starts to sell when people complain about not having handles on the mugs. I'm pretty confident that if they switch to no handles on all mugs, they'll start to sell "accessories" (handles, carriers, etc.) to make people happy. And they'll laugh all the way to the bank because instead of increasing the price of the mug by $1, they will have quietly convinced 50% (random number) of their guests to spend an extra $5/mug for a handle or $10 for a carrier.

Good idea. We're arriving next Monday, and there are 6 of us. Guess we'll just HAVE to go to Chick-fil-A!

So, how about lid colors? Just 2? If so, we'll need to use a sharpie on the bottom to identify which mug is whose!

I found a cute idea from gerberdaisy1234 on an old Arts and crafts thread for a Disney cruise in feb 2013 to decorate a cardboard carrier with red black and white tape!
