refillable mug/cup questions

The more I search the threads, the more questions I have:

1. We have a Hulk 32 oz. cup from 2004 - can we use it? The lid is long gone.

2. Is there still a deal with Mel's Diner for a refillable mug?

3. Is there still a deal for a free mug using Mastercard?

4. Where is the best place at IOA to get a mug? best place at US?

5. Can you really use the mug at the restaurants at CityWalk?

6. Does the all-day-sipper cup deal cancel out any refillable mug deals? Those cups are $8.99, I think and have something to do with the meal deals.

I'm not sure about all your questions, but I'll try to answer the one's I know...

I've been using the same cup for several years now. The price of the refill has gone up (about $1.49 now I think, before any discounts) but I've never had any problems refilling.

2. Is there still a deal with Mel's Diner for a refillable mug?I've never heard of this...sorry.

3. Is there still a deal for a free mug using Mastercard? No idea...Sorry.

4. Where is the best place at IOA to get a mug? best place at US?
I actually like the kinda generic purple and blue opaque mugs I found at various food stands/carts around the parks. (They have one park logo on them, but can be re-filled at either park).
In marvel island (IOA), they have a marvel super heros cup with a molded top (in the shape of superheros, I believe).
In Jurassic Park, they have a similar one topped with a dinosaur (I believe they also have different dinosaurs to choose from)

5. Can you really use the mug at the restaurants at CityWalk?
I'm not sure...Never thought to try...But I'd like to know to...

6. Does the all-day-sipper cup deal cancel out any refillable mug deals? Those cups are $8.99, I think and have something to do with the meal deals.
The $8.99 cup is a great deal, because you get free refills all day (but only that day). Also you have to buy the meal deal to get the drink deal .
If you don't think the meal deal is a good deal for your group, it might be cheaper just to buy the refillable mug and the discounted refills.
Also, if you do get the $8.99 mug, you can refill it on the next day (without the meal deal) for $1.49, just like the other mugs.

1)You sure can. You could bring in a cup from 1994 and they would still honor it.

2)You'd have to check with Mel's Diner. They will still honor a discounted refill rate, regardless.

3)Not sure.

4)Search around. Many areas/attractions have mugs that relate to their section. You can also find Spongebob cups everywhere.

5)Not sure. You'd have to ask within the restaurant or ask at CityWalk Guest Services.

6)I don't think so. You will still be able to get your regular discounted refills whether you're doing a meal deal or not.

Thanks - you've all been quite helpful! I think we'll bring our old cup and buy a new mug as there are 5 of us...
