Refillable mug at Disney

Hi there! My DD(6) and I are staying at the ASMU for a week in Sept. with the free ddp. I have not been to Disney since I was 5 therefore I do not recall too much! I know when you buy the deluxe dining plan you can get a refillable drink cup that is fillable at any of the parks. Can this be purchased by anyone and does anyone know how much this costs? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I AM GOING IN JUNE AND THE REFILLABLE MUGS ARE $12 AND YOU CAN ONLY REFILL DRINKS AT THE RESORT YOU ARE STAYING AT NOT IN THE PARKS. I HOPE THIS HELPS. THIS MY FIRST TIME TO DISNEY FOR A LONG TIME. YOU CAN GET A LOT OF INFORMATION ON MOUSESAVERS.COM ALSO.

Last March AK had the refillable mugs, but they were only good there.

...but only on the date purchased thanks to the special bar code you have to scan each time you refill it. You couldn't go back the next day and use it again.

The drink cup at AK that is refillable is called and Animal Topper (tall cup, long straw, animal on lid) they are 6.79 and refills are one dollar. I was reading a post that said they are only good for one day but everytime I have bought one they always told me I could bring it back w/ me (we have an elephant,tiger,&cheetah)

Since you are staying a ASMu you can use the refillable mug a ASMu,Mo,&Sp b/c they are sister resorts.

Free drinks at the parks would be worth it regardless the cost.
They do that in Williamsburg Virginia all over the historical area. Worth the $7 they charge there for sure.

@ Pop and the Poly cups were 12.00 (if I remember correctly) . Get the mug its totally worth it.

All the resorts offer refillable mugs... about $12.

Even though you can only use them at your resort, they are worth it.

In the morning when we are getting ready, my husband gets coffee in his.
In the afternoon, we fill them to have out by the pool.
At night when we return from the parks, we fill them to have something to drink before bed.

Since we don't like our children having a lot of soda pop, we have them order milk or juice in the restaurants with their meals, and also have juice boxes in the room.

I went to Disney in Febuary 08' and purchased a mug. To clear up a couple of questions and comments.
- Cost: $12.49
- This years mug (08') looks like last years (07') except the handle comes in 1of 3 colors (blue, black, silver) and the date under mikey and minnie has been removed. (so if you have last years, and you don't think you would feel guilty after spending hundres-thousands on everything else...scratch it off)
- They did have apple juice & hot water w/tea bags along with Soda and coffee. I'm not sure about milk.
- On the mug it states "FREE REFILLS AVAILABLE AT OUR RESORT BEVERAGE ISLANDS UNTIL THE END OF THE STAY IN WHICH THE MUG WAS PURCHASED"
- "Our" so you can use it at any disney resort for as long as your stay in Disney. Some people may be splitting up there "stay" in Disney between more then one resort, you don't have to purchase the mug twice.
- Yes you can bring the Mug's into the parks. No you don't get free refills in the parks.
I brought mine to the parks and drank water from the fountain. Yes it tastes like butt hole . The next time I'm bringing some Crystal light single packs, and yes you can bring those into the parks too (just leave your guns and ammo in your hotel room).
However, a elementry teacher friend of mine told me she could never drink from a water fountain after watching germ carrying, nose picking little ones slobber, sneeze, cough, lick ect... all over it . I'll take my chances in stead of spending $4 a drink.
F.Y.I. did you know that all of Disneys Sodas and popcorn is %100 donated for advertisment. So why do they jack up the price so much????
