Refillable Drink Mugs?

I know the Magic Your Way dining package can come with resort refillable mugs. I'm assuming that means only the resort can refill them.

My question is: Do they have park refillable mugs? I know several theme/amusement/coaster parks I've been to have them for a higher price, but if you're drinking a lot, it's nice to have. We were just wondering if they had them.

I had the same question. I saw that the port orleans has a "refillable mig" for 11.99. Does that mean it can only be filled at the resort? And I, also, would like to know if there is a mug you can buy to refill in the parks?

I know AK has the refillable mugs--the refill comes at a charge somewhere around a dollar. I believe the mug is around $7.00?

As far as I know, the YOAMD mugs sold at the resorts are only to be filled at the resorts for yr length of stay.

I believe that it's only the deluxe dining plan that comes with the mugs, and not the regular one.

You can buy the mug at your resort. It's to be used at your resort for the length of your stay. It's only included with the deluxe dining plan.

I've never seen park refillable mugs but I've never actually looked for them.

Sorry it's late & I'm tired but can I get clarification on Daisy's last comment? If I'm staying on site but no dining plan I can buy the mug. If I'm on the deluxe dining plan the mug is no charge. Is this correct??????

We were just at DAK last week and purchased the refillable PARK "mug" from Pizzafari....actually it's more of a sports bottle. Cost was $6.79 and you can get $.93 refills anywhere at DAK for the rest of your stay. These bottles are MUCH larger than the resort mugs (more than twice the size maybe?) and it worked out great for us, as it was a hot day and the diet lemonade worked out great.

Sorry .. I'm really slow. Can your "sports bottle" be used for free refills at the resorts? My understanding was that the mugs were purchased at the resort & then you got free resort refills.

The DAK sports bottles are a separate entity from the resort mugs. We had not heard of these until we saw them for sale at Pizzafari. I'm not sure if other WDW parks, besides DAK, offers the refillable sports bottles.

My understanding from my last week's trip was:

Resort mugs: Cost around $12.50??
Free unlimited refills at any WDW resort (we refilled ours at several
different resorts and this was legal

DAK Animal Sports Toppers: Cost around $7.00
$.93 refills at any soda fountain in DAK
(non-transferrable to other WDW parks)
MUCH larger than resort mugs

Someone please correct me if I am inaccurate on anything here!

You can buy the mugs at your resort. They're around 11 dollars.

They all look the same this year so you can feel free to refill it at all the resorts. I even had a CM tell me to do it.

And no, they don't have park mugs, sadly. But we did walk around with our resort mugs and just buy ice and a soda or water to keep filling them up. They became very handy and useful for us.

We were also advised by several cast members of this. We asked when we bought our mug at the Poly during our first night. We were actually just visiting Poly and staying at CBR. A CM at Poly heard us talking and advised us to just buy one there since we were planning on eating there anyways. I double checked when we transferred to AKL to see if I had to buy a new mug and cast members said I could use the same.

I remember when the mugs used to look different-individualized for each resort and rules were different back then. Sounds like they are universal to all WDW resorts now (but not to parks).

DAK refillable sports bottle is just allowed to be refilled at DAK-CM there said that it can be used for multiple trips to DAK, but can't be used at other parks.

Anyone know if the other parks have these sports bottles? I wish we had gotten one at Epcot-we were there so often!

You haven't seen these threads on here before?

Pretty much whenever anyone posts that it is OK to refill the mugs at a location other than where it was purchased a moderator posts a photo of the mug program sign from one of the resorts and locks the thread.

It doesn't matter to the mug police what the CMs told you...they are the arbitors of the mug program on the DIS, not actual WDW CMs.
