Referral reward?

I had friends who visited WDW in November. The mother of my friend ended up buying points at SSR and used me as a referral. We got a $25.00 on line coupon for DisneyShopping.com. Will there be something else?? Thought there was and I'm much to lazy (too much Christmas food!) to go look through our stuff to find out. I'm from Louisiana and I think we can get to "reward".

If I remember right, you get $25 credit when the referral takes the tour - regardless of the purchase decision.

You should get $200 for the first person that you refer that buys. You can apply it to your annual dues, get it as Disney Dollars on your next trip, and a few other choices. Call your Member services rep to make sure that it was applied to your account!

Hi! Just joined DVC on our 12/10 cruise! They said the reward depends on the law in your home state.

Friends of DHs took the tour. We were given $50 gift card for Disneyshopping.com
These friends then joined and bought 2 contracts (2 children). We were given a $200 credit. Could be used for 1) disney dollars, 2) towards our dues 3) donation and I believe there was a 4th choice. We lowered our dues.

My brother closed on November 30th and I am still waiting. I was hoping to receive my "certificate" before by dues bill arrived. Does anyone know how long it takes?

My son purchased 11/13/05. I received a letter on 12/17/05 which had me choose which way I wanted to receive my referral bonus. You just choose and send back the card. I chose Disney dollars for my next vac. 1/29/06. Haven't received them yet.

My brother purchased in October and closed in November - no correspondence. I think I will put a call to my guide - he has someone else. Should I just called DVC member services? Let's see what my guide says.

My guide called me back - the person handling the referrals won't be in until Jan. 9th and she is not sure if anyone else is taking over her duties. Soooo, there is a very good chance that I won't hear/receive anything (certificate) til then.

She also told me that it's official, the SSR promo will end Feb. 1st. Not sure if this has been posted anywhere yet.
