Referb at Coronado Springs

Can anyone give us an idea of the construction going on. Hope to spend a fair amount of time around the pool. Hoping it's not the pool

The pool already went through pool-fence construction last year. It's two things:

• The regular (every 6/7 years) hard-goods room refurbishment, which just began with Ranchos 7A and will go one building at a time (each closed during the work) for 18 months; and
• The decommissioning and redevelopment of Cabanas 9B (formerly the Business Class building) and the land behind it into a use that has not been disclosed yet (but may be for conference guest rooms or DVC) with a permit for construction work through 2018.

Just left yesterday . Stayed in Ranchos . Work seemed to just have begun in Ranchos . Our room certainly needed it .
We usually stay at other resorts so we noticed how Ranchos was really dated. We like Coronado Springs and will stay here
again , but only after renovations are completed.
