Does anyone have any experience or advice about Redweek? (I have removed my old ticker so no one thinks I'm trying to rent)

Never heard of it.

I've used them to look for resales at non-DVC resorts and rentals at non-DVC resorts.

I've now got a couple of great contacts when I'm ready to pull the trigger on a resale.

Everyone I've contacted about a rental/resale has been in contact within 24 hours.

If I want to rent any of my other weeks I'd definately put it up on Redweek.

Tons of DVC members post vacations for rent over there. Some you see on the DIS, too.

I actually rented a week at another timeshare through Redweek last summer.

Thanks..there are so many out there and many look a bit shady. We've come into some free plane tickets so may be able to do all planned trips :) (DH really wants that AI Mexico next year...go figure..and we ended up doing a Cash for Clunkers and got a new car that we didn't plan on right now)

We use Redweek and TUG for almost all of our timeshare rentals.

To post on Redweek, you have to register and pay to list your unit. Redweek also offers an escrow service for all transactions.

Another positive for redweeks.
