I wonder when this was? We have only been members since 2002 and I don't recall seeing anything so specific in the rules. (My recollection is that the definition of commercial rentals was more vague).There was a trend of this happening shortly after we first became members and Disney established a rule that one of the members on the contract had to be the primary guest at least once every three reservations or Disney could buy back the contract for purchase price or restrict new bookings for a while on the contract at their discretion. They made a huge deal out of it at the time, but it seems they never enforced it. It would be nice if they would do so.
I was just reflecting that while we don't rent out our points--I don't think we have been the primary guest at least once every three reservations-in the past year and a half. We have made a variety of reservations for nieces, nephews, our son's family, my sister's family and friends, but we have been reluctant to go ourselves.
