Redeeming Disneyquest voucher for a ticket?

Once you redeem the Disneyquest voucher for a ticket, how long is that ticket good for? Does the person listed on the front of the voucher have to redeem the ticket or can anyone on the reservation do it?

I'm pretty sure that you don't redeem it for an actual ticket that can be used later, but that you just use the voucher for admission right then and there.

The lead person must be there when the voucher is redeemed.

The person who's name is on the front has to show id to redeem it. Then they can give it who ever they want to. I redeemed mine and gave them to our teens. They are only good for the day you redeem them.

At least in 2013, they gave us actual hard plastic tickets that we then had to give at the door. I can't confirm if they're only good for right then or not, because we used them immediately.
